Personal Narrative: A Career As An Office Administrative Assistant
My punctuality, attention to detail, and people skills are what make me an excellent office administrative assistant. First of all, I hate being late to anything. I strive to be on time, or early, in appropriate situations. When I know that I will be unable to attend or have no control over being late, I am prompt to notify the individuals I am on my way to see. It is very rare that I am tardy to any scheduled meetings. Secondly, I strive to have an excellent attention to detail. Some would say I am a perfectionist with my work. I look projects over dozens of times before handing them in, and make sure that everything is up to my standard. I proofread very well, and I am usually the one people come to for editing advice.
