Personal Narrative: A Day In Middle School

A frenzy in the middle of November a day that I reside from the Philippines to Virginia. An impactful event of my life, I have to unexpectedly adjust my lifestyle. Also, I face numerous challenges such as unfamiliarity rules, acclimatizing to the weather and searching for social outlets. It seems intimidating and scary at first, but my parents guided me to the new culture. Consequently, in a few weeks, after I arrive, my parents enrolled me in middle school. I reluctantly unlock the door, glance back at the clock exactly 7:00 A.M. Once, I step off from the house, I instantly felt a cold gust of November. Cricket chirping as I stroll down to the bus stop. Impatiently waiting then I see a bus approaching all I heard tires screeching against the pavement and scent of gas fumes. All the sudden
I was an aghast student while standing there. Everyone was aware of my presence. However, a flamboyant teacher approached me and politely introduce her name. “My name is Ley Wright; I am your 8th-grade teacher.’ She confidently introduces me to the whole class. Then, I timidly glance my hand to say “Hi” to them. As time pressures, I went to all classes, however, I barely made any interactions with other peers. I recount my first day at middle school as melancholy and bleak. As long as I can recall on my adolescence that I have had a constant unease with a large crowd. This trepidation hindered me from expressing or socializing with other peers. As time progress Ms. Leys advises me to try extracurricular activities at school. She explains it to me that it could widen my interaction with students and pursue an interest. Consequently, I decide to get involve with sports.
