Personal Narrative: A Modern Day Lottery
A lottery can be held every year based on someone beliefs, culture and tradition. If someone was raised a certain way and that’s all they know, then they don’t see anything wrong with. On the other hand it also had to do with a lack of knowledge, because they do not realize that there things to enhance a harvest. A modern day lottery would be like an election and voting to my beliefs. Every four years there’s a presidential campaign and who we vote for can affect our lives. The behavior is ridiculous, but history repeats itself. Even today some people are crazy. Some people adapt to other people behavior, but I would have to remove myself from the person presence.

    Finally, when I moved to New Orleans I started volunteer work at the Children’s Hospital and helped with pop up clinics for the Latino community twice. Overall I found that helping others shouldn't be something seen as duty or mandatory, it should be spontaneous.
