Personal Narrative: Are We Wrong For Falling In Love
Title – Are we wrong for falling in love?
(HARRYS POV)
I was never really good at holding back my emotions. I’m known to be ‘the crier’, although I’ve denied it on many occasions. Lou and I were in our flat. Tonight we decided to watch a movie we both thoroughly enjoyed, Bambi. This movie gets me every time, like Titanic, you can’t watch it and not cry, it’s impossible. Unless you’re like some kind of robot or something. I look over to Louis, my eyes filled with tears, trying so hard to hold them back. As I turn my head I see Louis has fallen asleep.
Who the hell falls asleep during Bambi?! I say to myself turning up the TV louder to purposely wake him. He stirs at first, then starts to rub his eyes. Flopping his hands down he opens one eye, leaving the other all cringed and funny looking. Finally he snatches the remote out of my hand and turns it down.
“It’s called respect Harry.” He says burying his face in the shoulder cushions. I smirk at his sudden outburst and turn off the TV. It was getting to real for me anyway. I take my phone out my pocket and see its only 9:30, but we’ve got a meeting with management tomorrow and I know that won’t

It’s simple but effective, definitely. I walk over to our nicely styled kitchen, check my hair in the reflection of the oven only to see my curls flowing in every which direction, I sigh and quietly open up our bottom drawer. Basically, whenever we get gifts and things from fans we both pile it up into boxes and stash it in the basement or we find things we actually want and put them in this bottom drawer. There’s only a selected few, but it’s still pretty full. I move amongst the drawer looking for the item I need. Trying hard to do this quietly so I don’t wake him up in the process. Another few minutes of searching and I finally find it underneath this custom made hat that none of us ever wear, (oops, sorry to whoever made it.) I close the drawer silently and tiptoe my way over to the

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Are you pleased, or do you immediately come up with an endless list of insecurities? As a child one of my favorite memories was laying around the house with my older sister on rainy days. We would leave the windows open so we could hear the rain coming down on the tin roof over our patio, while watching reruns of our favorite tv show “America's Next Top Model”. I always thought that these women were gorgeous and I would catch myself constantly comparing their looks to my own. I wanted to be just like them until I realized the unrealistic expectations that they had to live up to. A sizeable butt and breasts, but not too large; they have got to be proportional. A skinny waist, impeccable hair, blemish free face although even with clear skin you are expected to cake on makeup because no one is actually pretty without mile long eyelashes, the perfect smoky eye, and exemplary contouring. Society has idolized these things as “beautiful” and shamed the girls that do not meet these standards; however, society should be making everyone feel confident in their bodies. Girls need to know that it is okay not to have an “hourglass figure” so they don’t…

Some might have the knowledge to fix the mistakes right away, and some will continue to add on more mistakes. When I first heard “When I Was Your Man,” the only thing that went through my mind were regrets as I remember how some of my relationships were in the past. Each and every time that I play the song, my opinions won’t change. According to Mark Knapp’s theory, there were ten stages to a relationship. The stages are initiating, experimenting, intensifying, integrating, bonding, differentiating, circumscribing, stagnating, avoiding, and terminating. I can definitely relate some of these stages to my past relationships.…

At times I feel as though I'm trying and failing to be a human being. But what makes us human? I feel although I'm a human-shaped shell made out of pieces of things I find interesting. Albert Einstein said, “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” When he made this comment, I imagine Einstein was only observing his success as a physicist. It was not meant to be profound or meaningful, but simply an explanation of his abilities. From a very young age I have been viewed as exceptionally intelligent. My classmates have always asked me how I do so well, and I usually provide a statement similar to Einstein’s. Although I was born with a tendency to be “smart”, my natural tendencies have in no way defined my intelligence; my passion, an acquired passion, and my ambition are the things which drive me learn. In my personal studies, I have learned a plethora of things beyond what is normal. For example, I play six instruments, just because I am passionately curious.…
