rescue mission operation. I even conducted an event training to where I participated in a Blackhawk Operation mission with the Army 12th Aviation Battalion and 55th EOD Team which EOD is a bomb squad, which every SWAT Team have in the civilian world in a police department SWAT. I had the chance to partake in a K-9 unit experience training.…
For example, the video game, Modern Warfare 3, received a total amount “far larger than the total domestic gross of Gettysburg (1993), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001), Cold Mountain (2003), God and Generals (2003), Valkyrie (2008), and Inglorious Basterds (2009) combined.” According to Wallace, war gamers changed from board games to internet games in 1996 and continues to be the most popular way the play war games. Some small-scale companies that created playing cards for solitaire games, occasionally do not produce enough for consumer needs but, they are still accessible through the internet to be…
I remember the one day, it was early in the morning and I was going to my basketball game. We stopped to help this lady get home by giving her a ride. Then once we dropped the lady off at her house we drove off and had to stop for some deer to cross the road. Once the deer crossed the road, we were finally off to the game, we made it to the game with time to spare. With the time we had to spare I had some biscuits and gravy, and i devoured them in seconds and had some orange juice after.…

What comes to your mind when you hear the word hero? My kind of hero is one that will try as hard as they can even if they know they can’t do anything to help it or make it better. My kind of hero is one that will fight even if it wont get them anywhere. My kind of hero is one that will be selfless when it comes to others. And when I think of a hero I think of a very strong special somebody that will do anything for anyone just to consider there feelings. My kind of hero is my little man Wyatt.…

Hello Eric, the correlation between the pseudonymous writer for Tom Clancy, and letters attributed to Paul is interesting (E. O’Dell, personal communication, October 10, 2017). However, the scholarly contesting of certain Pauline letters appears somewhat useless regarding the evidence being used to prove or disprove. Moreover, according to Harris (2014) style, format and phrasing is the basis for the large majority of the contested epistles. Also, if Paul used verbal dictation when constructing his letters, it would account for significant differences in style and phrasing (Harris, 2014). Consequently, the repetitive style and phrasing are possibly due to one consistent secretary, then the changes in style and wording could change if Paul changed…
In seventh grade I wanted to tryout for volleyball. I was very nervous because I had never played it before. I was super happy when I found out all my friends and I made the team. We had a lot of practices in December to get ready for games in January. I was really nervous for our first game. Our first game was supposed to be right after christmas break ended, but we had a snow day so it was cancelled. I wished it hadn’t been so I could just get it over with, but i was gonna have to wait. We were scheduled for another game later that week. I woke up with a phone ringing and an answering machine saying that school was cancelled due to boiler issues. I sat in bed thinking I had once again gotten lucky and we had no game, I was wrong. We were…

All my life I have found myself following in my sister’s footsteps. During her high school years, she was on the drill team. Therefore, I made it one of my dreams and goals to be a part of it as well. I had danced for about five years prior to trying out, and I was certain that I would make the team. After trying out, my friends and I all gathered together to open the letters which would tell us if we did or did not make the team. Unfortunately, I did not. I was devastated for several weeks after tryouts. As time passed; however, I realized how much of a blessing it was to not make that team. Not making the drill team has opened up doors to many different opportunities that I would not have had if I were a part of the team. I would not have…
The purpose of this paper is to share my first deployment experience as the first sergeant. Serving in a war zone is an experience you will never forget. As a result of my first deployment to Afghanistan as a first sergeant, I practiced a new perspective on life, instilling trust in my Soldiers and NCOs to continue the mission. Perspective that I developed from the beginning with the pre-deployment preparation at the National Training Center (NTC) through the actual deployment to Afghanistan and finally over the redeployment home.…

I identify as an African American male who grew up facing the same issues that most African American males face i.e. raised by a single mother, not knowing my father, raised in a low income environment, blah, blah. I said all of that to say this; those factors haven’t plagued my life or my future. I embraced those negatives and turned them into positives. I had a really strong mother who made sure that I stayed on the right track in terms of my future success, and she did a great job. I joined the military the day after I graduated high school and haven’t looked back since. Life in the military has brought me many experiences, some good and some bad. But for the most part, the experiences have been good.…
“Graduation, the hush-hush magic time of frills and gifts and congratulations and diplomas.” You weren’t lying when you said that Maya Angelou. May 19th, 2013 I had dreamt of that day for almost four years. I know I can’t be the only person who feel this way. I remember it as if it was just yesterday. So many different emotions going through my mind all at once. Happiness, Sadness, I felt relieved because it was almost over but at the same time I felt anxious and overly excited to just leave and go far away. 389 seniors were going to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas. After all, our class had the biggest percentage of graduates who were actually…
