Personal Narrative: Escape From The Zombie Apocalypse
Escape from the Zombie Apocalypse Have you ever felt that your days has come and that it time for you to give up on your life and people that truly mean the world for you? An intense feeling that you wish you will never experience again. I have always considered myself as a brave and courageous individual. On May 5th, as I woke up from a wonderful sleep, I found that my house has been invaded by monstrous creature know as Zombies. They were over the fence of my backyard and I still needed to gather some important material before sneaking off my navigator. I said to the children, “Quiet down, get low to the ground and do not let them see you!” The kids were extremely frightened, but there was no time to freeze with fear. I had to get out of there with my family as soon as possible. I knew they would find their way inside the home in a matter of minutes; so I quickly grabbed some weapons, knifes, bats, and anything sharp or hard I could find I my surrounding. There were a few items valuable to me that I did not want to leave behind, but most of those items had to be left. There was only time for the bare necessities. In this case, our cell phones, chargers, and a …show more content…
I heard that deathly gurgling sound, I knew one had already made his way inside, which meant there were probably more than that already inside or on their way. I came into the hallway, snuck to my bathroom, and grabbed the cleaning sprays as my method of protection in case any one of them came to me. I knew the spray wouldn’t kill the monster, but it would hopefully detract it long enough for me to get away. Once in the kitchen, I grabbed the biggest knife I could find and starting up packing up whatever non-perishable food items I could find. There was not enough time to collect the water that I had hoped for, but I grabbed some water bottles to use for filling up water when the opportunity was

I looked to my left then to my right, it was dark all around, except for the light emanating from the flashlight mounted on my gun. I cradled my assault rifle, it was my lifeline, if it was gone, I was dead, or worse... Alive. I heard a shriek, not from a human, but from a zombie...... I looked down the alleyway ahead it was fully dark now, I heard running footsteps behind me. I turned around as fast as I could. A blood covered zombie was running toward me, I was scared for my life. I chopped the zombie down with my rifle, the muzzle flashes lighting up the ally. Suddenly I heard the blood curdling cries of many zombie- oh no, I made to much noise. Now they were pouring in from the street into the alleyway I was in. Around forty of them were coming towards me, I turned around to try to escape.. at least five more in that direction. i sprayed the five zombies down with my gun, pulled the pin on a grenade, dropped it, and sprinted in that direction. I made it onto the street.…

Last week I spent time packing up boxes and moving things around the house. In the process, I started pulling things out of places where I had stashed them for safe keeping, forgetting that I even had these treasured items. While I was in this Spring cleaning frenzy, I opened a closet, no different from an attic or shed, and found an old forgotten box. When I finally managed to open it, a little disaster punched me right in my face, figuratively of course, but it got me thinking.…

I went right. As the vent clanked behind me I went faster as something managed to reach up and scratch a thin line in my calf, and a little blood came out . I came to the first grate I saw, and dropped down, scrambling to a closet, pausing a second to look at what was behind me. I heard a Thud, then looked out and saw that it had just dropped down, and all it had to do was follow the blood, which led right to me. It suddenly lunged forward and ripped the closet door off its hinges. As it tried to eat my face, I blew its brains out with the shotgun I had taken from the weapons closet. Pretty good luck for me. I ran to the door and sealed it as one slammed into it. I looked around the room and saw that it was stocked full of weapons, and one crate even had a shoulder mounted rocket launcher with 2 or 3 extra rockets, and there was an escape shuttle! He could leave right now… no. I grabbed the rocket launcher but then set it down. I would go back to the surveillance room, then I would gather as many survivors as I could. After that I would tell them to start opening crates, and taking out the bullets and piling them each in a crate, and each crate would have a rocket on top so that when we set them off it would create a vacuum big enough that it couldn’t be contained, and all of the creatures would either be sucked into space of suffocate.…

Life wasn't easy living as a serf in 1352, the plague epidemic was getting stronger, but we had cures and preventions-or so we thought. Every day I woke up with a heavy head and heart, knowing that my only way out was my inevitable death. I worked and lived on a small manor with my noble and some other serfs. Most of the day I would do some simple farming, but when other people died, I had more responsibility. The only good part is that I got more pay for this. We had our ways of keeping safe from the plague epidemic, but apparently, we weren't safe enough. Most people prayed, hoping God would keep them safe. Other ways that people would keep safe included eating emeralds, aromatherapy and other forms of medicine…

It’s 8:02 a.m. on a soggy morning. After raining buckets for days, everyone’s mood is glum. While serving your children breakfast before shooing them out the door to school, your husband finally sleeps after a long night shift deep in the bowels of the Buffalo Creek coal mines. Minutes tick by and your only thought is getting the kids out the door on time with all their books and school supplies. Suddenly you hear a noise so foreign and loud, it takes a moment to register which of your senses is picking up the signal. You look out the window and see a wall of water complete with homes, cars and people bobbing in it coming at you faster than anything you have ever experienced. You scream and then…..…

I always keep this poem and picture in my wallet. I take it everywhere with me because it means quite a lot to me in two very different ways. One of those ways is because it holds sentimental value. When I was younger I learned to read very late in life and I was always so embarrassed of that. My father knew that I was struggling and bought me the book, Where the Sidewalk Ends. It is a book full of poems and little pictures written by Shel Silverstein. I remember opening the book to ta random page, and it was the page with this poem. I then remember my dad asking me to read it to him. I was so uncomfortable, even thought I was just going to be reading to my dad. He gave me some words of encouragement, and even thought I was not able to read…

I let my feet feel the carpeted stairs inch by inch. A found missing flyer was framed on the wall as I paced up and down the hallway my head was out of my mind or was it my mind was out of my head? Screaming. Screaming. Screaming. It never stopped! Where was it! I banged on the wall over, and over, and over, and over again. I ran to the closet door and opened it. There it was; the screaming. There she was; the girl. I couldn't see her, but I could feel the chill. A victim. I closed the door. My eyes crossed and rolled back. A shot of adrenaline shoots up me. The screams poor out of my mouth. I can't control it. I try to close my mouth, but I can't. I start walking down the stairs at a fast pace. Foaming at the mouth I try to get myself together but I can't. Why. Before I know it I'm picking up my gun and walking at an even faster pace out the door, but how. Something's pulling me, but nothing's there. I'm walking faster, and faster, and faster. Past the river, past the boat, into the water, to the shore, through more woods. Walking, and walking, and walking, and walking. I stop. My upper body seems to collapse, but my legs keep me stable. I look around as if I'm checking to make sure no ones there. I take the gun to my head I start to weep and call for help... But I'm already…
