I remember that game like it was yesterday. We started off really bad in the first half of the game. Many turn overs and stupid shots that had us thinking we were out of the game and that we couldn't come back. I forced several turnovers and the team many fast break points to where we were only down by six.Then my teammate Robbie had came down and pulled up with a three pointer to cut the lead down to three with 9 seconds left on the clock. The other team inbounds the ball and I foul to stop the clock and get them to the free throw line. The other teams point guard doesn't hit any. So I quickly grab the rebound and push the ball up court with 7 seconds I shoot the three and swish! It goes in tying the game up. But then I heard the whistle the referee said I had been fouled and get one free throw to win the game with no time on the clock.
Stepping up to that free-throw line was the most nervous I had ever felt in my entire life. Thousands of eyes on me. My body felt numb, so I took a deep breath, and shot. Nothing but net.
