If you asked me before this unit how much time I spent on my cell phone I would have said somewhere around 2 hours a day. As I debate switching to a flip phone, these numbers only persuade me to do so. How much time could I have spent doing something productive? The first thing I do when I wake up and the last thing before I go to bed is check my phone. I would say the only thing I do that is productive on my cell phone is learn to play piano. I spend hours scrolling through pictures of people that I do not even care about. I check my usage daily. I can honestly say that the days I spend less than two hours on my phone I feel much healthier and more accomplished. The days I spend around 6 or 7 hours on my phone are met with headaches and difficulty sleeping. This whole unit I have been telling myself that I am going to do something about my phone usage. I have done nothing yet. The only reason that I am holding onto not completely switching to a flip phone is a fear of missing out. As I go off to college I want to keep in touch with my friends, and I see no other way to do that without Instagram and Snapchat. This fear should not stop me from making a change. Even if I do not switch to a flip phone, I should uninstall many apps that I am constantly on. I am glad we had this unit because I realize I am addicted, and I do have a problem, and I am going to
