Personal Narrative: Eulogy For Grandfather

Fort just came running into the house screaming at me that Betsy slapped one of the cows and it kicked Adam across the grassy field behind the house. This isn't old news… I go out there hearing Adams four year old screams, while hes laying in the grass gripping onto his stomach. This happened about 7 years ago right after Fort was born but the cow kicked George. It happened the same way too. Our family friend, Frank, Slapped our cow because it tried eating his shoe and the cow got angry and kicked George. But anyways, i'm still packing all of our kitchen utensils and personal items for our long trip to Oregon. I'm bringing to outfits each for the whole family and extra cloth incase someone rips their clothing. Also they get two pairs of shoes each and a repair kit. Also, of course, i'm bringing my Family Bible.
All of our plows, garden tools, seeds, and feed for our cows, oxen, and farming is all packed up into our little Prairie Schooner. We are also bringing extra tools and bolts just in case our anything on our wagon breaks. My husband only thinks we should leave is because HE wants better land and HE thinks we’ll get better land but i think we should just stay because we aren’t going to be the first ones there to get the best land but in the family, my vote doesn’t count because i'm a woman and George doesn’t care about my opinion. But we’re going on this trail with our family friend Frank, because he knows the way there. George expects us to get the best land out of everyone who’s going but i'm pretty sure we aren’t going to get the first pick. Were leaving in 3 days to a little town called Independence in Missouri. We have most of our stuff packed but not all.. We’ll get there in about 20-30
