Personal Narrative: Glub Nub
Glub Nub was right in front of us a vicious alien that crashed into earth about a week ago. Wait let me take you to the beginning of the story where it all began. I was a 16 year old kid that liked aliens (weird right), so I was looking up alien sites like area 51 and other places when my mom called and told me my friend liam was here to go outside she said , I said okay as I turned off my computer and ran downstairs. I said hey to Liam as I grabbed my jacket and hopped on my my bike and rode off with Liam. We dropped off our bikes at the corner of my of my block as we started to walk to our favorite field.

When we got to the field something caught my eye, a big something in the sky was hurtling toward us. I dove out of the way with Liam as

As part of our school's community service program,I volunteered at a family with a down syndrome child. For two years, I went to help the Jablons every Thursday right after school.I helped out with a variety of things including homework, bathing the little ones, and physical therapy with Nesanel. Sometimes it seemed as though I was on the giving end, however I was really the receiver. I have learned so much from Nesanel. From his precious smile, his determination, and his love for others. Nesanel loves friends. He doesn't discriminate between people from different backrounds or color. Nesanel is truly special. Working with him and his siblings has given me a new outlook on…

I was taught to trust my instincts we slowly moved forward, we came to a halt to see a jackal crushed with a boot imprint on its back a blood trail led into the west wing I turned on infrared nothing was there nothing in the nearby wing we slowly move toward the west wing. When we got inside we saw lots of technology, it almost looked like deja’s class room back on reach. When we reached the arch there was a huge spike of infrared shooting straight up out of the west wing. So powerful it disabled my systems we took cover we moved up slowly and spotted two aliens, they were giant no doubt one of them crushed the jackal. They had huge shields and a cannon on its left arm we opened fire on them, but our armor piercing rounds bounced right off them one of them turned toward us and shot at kelly and James then the other one shot at us I brought my alien shield up just in time there was a flash of light and i got blown into the next room and crashed into the next wall I ran back in their was a burn mark where kelly and james were kelly jumped forward in time but James wasn’t in…

After that encounter, I settled down and calmed my nerves. I must have missed whatever it was out in the tree line. At that moment, I realized that when I’m in an unfamiliar environment, I should not just focus on one particular sense. Basically, I shouldn’t daydream. Whatever was in those woods may have been a serious threat had I been in a similar situation in a different environment. For example, what if I was on vacation in Alaska on the shore of a lake and stared off into space like that? In that environment, I could’ve been attacked by a bear.…

Once I felt that my heart was pounding, my stomach started to develop painful cramps, and my My throat was as dry as a bone. I stopped and took deep breaths in and out. They thought it was funny, we actually became friends. The third guy just asked me why I loved him and I responded “because you're a beautiful human being”, he laughed and said nice to meet you. We also became friends. The girl that asked me why I told her I loved her said to me “before you say anything I’m not lesbian” I was really amused because I wasn’t flirting with her for her to think I actually liked her and loved her. I was the one feeling more awkward I have to admit. I told her it was a social experiment I was doing for my sociology class and apologized, she said “oh okay cool” and walked away. That was one of the most awkward situations I was put in throughout the experiment. When I broke the social norm with my professors it was…

The data was sent back, and we were called to come back home, once we boarded the ship the planet passed and asteroid belt, but we were already too far to turn around, we were on a one way ticket to Collision Town. Drew's split second decision to turn the ship off and let us fall back to the planet saved our lives but damaged the ship beyond our needs to get home. With our ship beyond repair we decided to abandon it and go to search for a stable ground for home base. Lauren walked east, I walked west, Drew walked north, we would walk for twenty-five miles spend one night at our space and walk back twenty-five miles to the ship and compile data to see which direction we should go. Twenty-five miles west was to cold to spend days upon days on, and Drew's location north of the ship was to rocky but Lauren's desert like land was perfect for our home. We walked thirteen miles when we concluded that there was someone or something following us, I took a small camera and attached it to my back. We walked three more miles when I grabbed the camera to review the footage, what I saw was horrifying, we were not alone. Slithering behind us on four short legs, an animal almost dragon like, was stalking our every move. It's scales were clear and the white skin underneath was shining through, it's piercing green eyes shot from side to side as if expecting something else to join in on the hunt. It's tail dragging on the ground swerved side to side scanning the ground for other forms of life. The fear we felt was indescribable, there was no escaping quietly we pulled our weapons and decided to run, with everything left in me I sprinted off behind Lauren and Drew when it's tail came out from behind itself and grabbed my ankle. I fell and was dragged back towards the animal while…

Football has always been a big part of my life. As a young boy I would day dream of making insane touchdowns, making tackles that would leave man stuck in the ground, and even winning the heisman trophy. In 7th grade I had begged my mother endlessly to sign me up for pee wee football because she would always worry about the risks of football. After finally getting her to sign me up, we went straight into the season. I chose to play running back because as a 12-year-old I was remarkably fast having timed 5.3 in the 40 yard-dash. After a few weeks in the season we approached the playoffs and found out our opponent for the first round of the playoffs were the jaguars who were undefeated. Our team didn’t have the best chemistry on…

Creek. The door opened a crack, but there was an absence of people. "Hello?", I said. I tip toed into the main corridor and looked around. Nothing was out of place or missing, except for humans. I then tried all the neighbors on my street, and the next. At this point I was terrified, and did not think it could get any worse, but it did. All of a sudden, the same goo that I had seen in my room earlier, started falling out of the sky. It started off as a light drizzle, and turned into a massive pour. I looked up towards the sky just in time to see a giant spaceship landing a few hundred feet down the road. I paced back and forth, contemplating my next move. I chose to get a better look, and raced towards the mysterious object. Just as I arrived, the door on the space ship inched open. I stepped back to let whatever was in there out. "Greetings, fellow earthling", it said. "I have come to tell you that you are needed for a very important experiment." The green, one-eyed figure then stepped aside and pulled out one of my good friends from school, Tommy Davis. I gasped in horror. In a quick, and precise movement, they placed Tommy in a machine that made a disturbing sound. He was lifted off the ground, and his scream was…
