Hi, Señor Belles! I was just emailing you to tell you that I got my syllabus signed by my Mom the night you made it due. I looked on Aeries and you said I had it missing. I can resend it if you’d like. I understand if you haven’t entered the grades in the grade book, but if otherwise, please message me back.…
In which I have come to believe that the Coast Guard Academy can teach me lessons beyond that of any other college in the country. There, I will receive an excellent education, a solid foundation for a…
I don't have anything to write. so I'm just wasting space. I like supernatural. Supernatural is nice. I like Dean. Jensen Ackles is pretty Misha collins is pretty funny. I ship them together. Well, not them. I ship their characters. Dean and Castiel. I ship Destiel. It's my OTP. Well, it's my otp right after FRUK. Fruk is a pairing from hetalia which involves France and England. I like how dysfunctional they are. It makes me happy.…
It was wonderful to meet you last night. Everything we discussed was highly intriguing, and I am quite eager to read through the papers that you mentioned.…
During my shift today, I built good rapport with an alumni and we talked for quite a while. He asked whether or not I could keep in contact with him so that he could network with me. I just gave him my email because I was unsure of the protocols of giving out personal info. I had told my shift supervisor already, and was wondering if you could help me do a check on him to make sure he is safe.…
“Ooze!” the fight began, I clashed swords with my opponent. I loosed the match, but during the match I got a new idea for a character. I was eager to get home so I could start drawing. When I got home it was time to start a whole new world, in a way. So, I grabbed my drawing supplies and began to draw. But I had other things to do so I had to postpone it for 30 minutes. Then I returned to my drawing.…
I have alway had an interest in music mostly singing. I have always been interested in learning to play guitar, but I never took the time to learn how to play. I think that it's awesome that you want to go to the University of Florida. My sister graduated from UF, and I think it is such an honor to get accepted and graduate from that school. Good luck with everything!!…
A tarnished sword sat in my grandparents' house for 50 years. No one knew where it came from. No one knew why it was there. Three years ago, I spotted this sword propped up against the fireplace. I noticed an inscription in the brass and leather scabbard with a name, Ephraim F. Bauder, in cursive script. This is the story of that sword.…
Fresh Off the Boat (FOB), it’s used as an insult to the immigrants who immigrated to the US and have lack of understanding of the new country; people should stop using it.…
My wagon train is now in Alcove Springs, we have been here for only a day. It is time to just have fun since we have had supper and all, so I decided to write during this time because I really don't have a lot of time to write throughout the trail, but I try.…
People often ask me, “do you play basketball or volleyball? Because you’re really tall.” As a six-foot-tall girl, I find that people are disappointed when I tell them “no, not anymore.” I was always told by coaches and parents that “you have potential,” but basketball, much to my dad’s dismay, was not for me. I found that I had the potential to do something with my life, to be someone bigger than myself. My freshman and sophomore years, I did not want to be involved in my school. Rather I wanted to get in and get out and go to college. But all that changed when I decided I wanted to be a Link Crew Leader, at the time I did not know what it meant to be a link leader, I just knew I wanted to be one.…
I was a camp counselor at Camp Wabikon ‒ a co-ed overnight summer camp located in Temagami, Ontario for children who are 6-15 years of age. Along with teaching Red Cross swimming and lifesaving and Tennis, I was my cabin's 'parent' for six weeks. Therefore, I was present with the children at all times. In essence, I was the leader of my cabin's the physical, social and mental development. The main things I learned were the importance of time management and organization , as I had to plan lessons for swimming and Tennis while taking care of my cabin; conflict resolution between campers; and the ability to plan and foresee events (I had to plan camp-wide events and activities for all campers).…
Hi, I am Blornh. I think you can remember me. There are many things that I want to tell you, but I have to choose some them because I can write only, at most, 15 sentences. First, I like cats, for I think they are great pets. I have seen them since I was 3 years old. This is the reason why I like them. Second, I love eating. I and my family always go out to some restaurants. Finally, I’m scared of snakes. When I was young, I was almost bitten by a snake. These are some of my details.…
In 2004 at the young age of 19 I found myself in a new place, a new world that I had never seen before. I joined the Marines out of High School to see the world and learn about other people. What I learned in the military I have applied it to my daily life. I learned to never judge someone by what they look like or how they live. Just because it is new to you or different dose not mean it is wrong.…
As a kindergartener, when I grew up I wanted to be a princess, or own a hamster farm, or never really grow up at all. In second grade I developed an obsession with the ocean and what lives in it, specifically sharks. Because of my love of sharks I decided that when I grew up I wanted to be a marine biologist. When I made this decision I never knew what a big part math played in this profession. Math has always been my biggest weakness when it came to my education. I would spend hours trying to understand all the numbers and what to do with them. I know now regardless of my love of the ocean, I would have ended up being miserable having to spend the rest of my life constantly feeling confused and idiotic.…
