I was always praised for my ability to make friends, communicate my points, and really be able to connect with others, so when I was asked to MC for an event I couldn’t pass the opportunity to show everyone that I really was great. I went into the event with very little preparation, and a great amount of confidence. When I got up to introduce the event I completely froze and found myself speechless. I stood on stage in front of 500 people for 5 minutes not knowing what to say. Luckily my friend who was on stage with me made up for my mistake and helped me get started. After the event, I went into my room and began to reflect. I told myself I failed and couldn’t do anything about it.
