Me working at Well Fargo would be a good match for me because I can see myself Use First Level Sequence and Use As Needed Precision for those particular tasks or responsibilities. I work better alone then in a team because my learning pattern of Technical Reasoning is Use First Level rather than yours is Avoid It to work with…
I remember anxiously waiting for 9:00 o’clock so we could go explore the store. The grocery store could be kind of spooky during the night but this didn’t bother us too much because we would be busy playing tag or hide and seek throughout the store. The grocery store has seven aisles. Aisles 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are nothing special but aisle 6 is divided into in half by a variety of items as well as a candy box ( I don’t know what else to call it).…
I have learned that long-term career / professional goals are best achieved when we break them into shorter goals. My short-term goal is to join and add value in a professional dynamic organization by applying my knowledge, skills and experience, working in line with the company vision and values in order to achieve a common goal. As part of a team, I want to add value and continue to grow the company. My long term goals is to leave legacy and be the asset of that…
I worked three hours on Sunday 8/23/2015 at Old Navy as a cashier. Cashiering is quickly becoming one of my favorite jobs. Before I was sent to register 3, I had to go through some ethics training about Old Navy's zero harassment policy. I have had to do similar training for another job I had so this was nothing new. At the register, I faced some normal challenges a cashier faces on a average day from the computer running slow to the credit card reader not working. During this work day, I was given a new challenge and responsibility of wearing a walkie talkie earpiece. I have never used one before and it was pretty exciting to learn this new skill. With this machine, I can hear the mangers and other select employees that have a walkie. I had…
With a dreamy, nostalgic grin lining his face, one filled with hard-won battle scars serving as an eternal reminder on how much both men and innumerable others had worked to protect the United States, my Grandpa extended both of his arms out as if welcoming a long-lost friend (such as Jay was) and waxed reminiscence—his clean but no longer pearly, shiny, or white teeth on display with prominence the entire time—with regard to how the two of them were now together in Sandia, which had a six thousand foot mountain outside the base filled with “tunnels and stuff” where top-secret technical work was getting done on special weapons, both “atomic and otherwise.” Taking into the scope of consideration what little knowledge I possessed on how America…
and dependable, honouring work commitments, agreements and arrangements and, when it is not possible to do so, explaining why to service users. I always need to be adhering to policies and procedures about accepting gifts and money from service users.…
I must cancel tennis this weekend. I am sorry for the short notice. My work schedule is bad for tennis play. It is best that I withdraw future matches. My hours extend to 8 am, Monday - Saturday. Church does not make Sunday a viable option. You are always welcome to play on the courts. Just let me know.…
Kourtney Bainter, I am 24 and am a female welder that continuously surprises those around me, However; this would be far more impressive if I wasnt surpriseing myself in the same moment. welding isint just a passion for me- its really a way of life that I did not choose for myself, this passion chose me. When I was 14 my father pulled me and my older two brothers from school and put us on his paving crew- child labor right you think? no! I loved it! never in my life had i ever felt so empowered and in control than i did when i was shoveling asphalt. the reward of this hard work was not money but the knowledge of knowing that i was helping to support my family, also being a 14 year old female that could out shovel her two older brothers was an impressive perk! i was the only female on the team and the youngest to boot. hard labor encouraged me to branch out and finish my education. i then went to tongue point astoria jobcore where i completed my g.e.d and high school deploma and then became a certified carpenter and welder. While at job core i also earned the BOOT award (Better Occupational Oppurtunities for Trades women) and had an article in the local…
I am seeking employment with IMCA because I feel my interests as well as my qualifications would fit perfect in your work environment. Also, I have always been motivated by the challenge of meeting tough deadlines in my last job. I know that the work at IMCA is fast-paced and deadline-driven. I am more than up for a…
It was June 14, 1858, and we were on our way to Mr.Lincoln’s house. My Dad happened to be one of Mr.Lincoln’s colleagues;therefore, he was always helping him compose his speeches. We weren’t too far from his house so we just took our horse and small wagon.…
I genuinely feel that I could serve the Corp best as the CO of Bravo Company or 1st sergeant of Bravo Company. There are multiple reasons why I am the best qualified for either of these positions. The first reason is that I have a passion for Bravo company, and I will always be loyal in doing what is best for Bravo company and the Corp. Second is I have a very determined personality and when I am given a task I will do everything within my power to go out of my way to complete the task at hand to the best of my ability. A personal story that proves the kind of drive and determination that I have is I started wrestling in 5th grade and the end goal was always to be a state champion wrestler in high school. My freshman year I didn’t even qualify for sectionals and sophomore year I qualified for state, but I only one match.…
Have you ever met someone who has the "perfect job" - like the animal lover who's a great veterinarian or the science whiz who's a lab technician? What about the people who are good at what they do - but hate getting up every morning to go do it?…
I distinctly remember working part-time at Starbucks, and there realizing all of the economic theories at play. Two of my coworkers worked separately, but towards the same end, exercising their comparative advantage. I later watched as happy hour rolled around, and demand suddenly skyrocketed as our prices dropped. It was deeply impressive to see the seemingly complicated subject of economics so clearly demonstrated in my minimum wage job. I was only a month into my first microeconomics course, but I had already made the decision to declare myself an economics major. I have always been, I think, deeply interested in what drives our world. So it was only natural that in listening to my professor explain the pricing of goods and how labor was…
Disability support worker; what does mean? To someone who is unaware of the term, they may think that it is just adult babysitting. Aside from that being offensive, it is so much more than that. It is devoting your time to spend with a person and to make them feel like person. To one person, it may not seem much to some, but to the right person, it could mean the world. Having the opportunity to meet individuals and making them feel empowered meant the world to me, and the smile on their face for their success. With knowing that you made an impact on their life, it makes a person feel like anything is possible.…
