Personal Narrative-Jack's Memoir
Jack’s Memoir RD A massive battle ship, a bike accident in sunny
Florida, A huge navel jets, Blue Angels, and a fun day in Pensacola. These are my top five memories since the royals won the world series, wait I wasn't even born in 1985! Paragraph 1 Have you ever been on a huge towering battleship? Well I have. On our long drive to Florida we were going through Alabama and went to Mobile Bay. We stopped at the USS Alabama. I’m stunned at the huge hunk of metal thing called a ship as we get out of our car. The massive guns and anti-aircraft guns that would light up the night sky like lightning. The old World War 2 ship smells of rust and must. I almost feel mercy for the people who looked at this ship as the enemy. Some of the parts are rusty. I hear the flapping of a flag in the soft Mobile Bay breeze. I feel the cold hard metal and the chipping paint. I know now why they call this vessel a Destroyer.

Paragraph 2 Have you ever been in a bike accident or been not looking where you are going and run straight into a pole or the curb. Well I feel you, in fact I’ve done that many times. But

I shiver from the cold hard steel with metal bolts coded in eggshell white paint. This was my family's second vacation to Florida, different time different place though. We were in Pensacola this time and right next to the Naval Air Reatecain base! I was so thrilled I ran around the place taking billions of pictures of the towering aircraft and exhibits. I climb around, under, over all of the planes. My sisters are busy texting and sitting on a bench. You can tell they don't really have the same interest as me. Soon though it's time to eat lunch, so what better place to no other than the restaurant that was right there in the base. I get the biggest baddest hot dog you have ever laid eyes on. Chili, cheese, ketchup, relish, and lettuce. It's all there and all

Phil Robinson is a Philadelphia naïve, at a young age he was introduced to fashion by his father. His father was very strict on presenting yourself in a classy stylish way. He was about his boys looking neat, being clean and well groomed as we grew from boys to men. I took that guidance and as I got older I decided it was something I wanted to share with just not my son, but with many others also. Style is in my blood, I've been doing it for years for family, friends, etc. Helping kids is my passion and always has been. So here is just my small avenue where I can combine both of the things that I enjoy most to create a positive…

I relate to this story very well. I am sort of like Tom where I like to go out and have fun, but somehow get in trouble. I don’t know if I would go and steal gold coins, although it might be enjoyable. I think it would be fun going out with friends and stirring up trouble. It would also be great if I could get someone to do my chores and work for me. Tom seems like he has so much fun on his adventures, even though he does some things he is not supposed to do. Tom and I are sort of alike, we both hate school just want to sit outside or go on adventures. I also would like to live back in his day, no TV, internet, not even a phone your entertainment is going around the town. Back in those days you would have no fear of robbers or even murders,…

It’s midnight and as I expected, a black Ford F-150 Truck with tinted windows pulls up to my house. I walk outside holding a backpack with my portable speakers and a baseball bat. However, I quickly change my mind and leave the baseball bat inside the house. I hop into the back seat of the truck and am greeted by four large burly kids. “What’s up Matt?” says Ben who is sitting in the drivers seat. With music blasting, Ben takes off the parking brake and presses his foot down onto the gas pedal. Soon we are heading down dark winding roads as we listen to music from Captain Murphy, which contributes to our mischievous mood. Finally we arrive.…

The room was very bright and felt very tropical. Once we got unpacked, we went down to the beach and ate lunch. After lunch, we saw two of my aunts and their families. Then, we went swimming in the ocean, the pools and laid on the beach. By supper time everyone had arrived. We spent most of our days eating together, swimming, playing beach volleyball, and laying on the beach. I got to spend my birthday in Punta Cana and I got to go on a catamaran, on a banana boat tube pulled by a boat with my cousins, and we had a special dinner at the Italian restaurant on the resort for me. My family and I were also there for the Super Bowl. They had a huge inflatable screen that they projected the game on. They had huge buffet of food and workers on the resort dressed like football players. My brother and my dad are Denver Broncos fans, so they were very happy with the result of the…

The thirteenth emoji going left to right, that has heart eyes and has its lips perked out is relateable to a part of the book where Jerome and Rory are kissing intensively. On page 200 it states "I started pressing my lips into his cheek - just a hint of a kiss,.....I felt his shoulders release, and he made a little noise that was partly a groan, partly a sigh. He kissed my neck up, up, up to my ear......My body flushed itself with all the good chemicals that it takes to reserve for making out. On page 201 it states " He told me scary Jack the Ripper facts, and I had the sudden need to make out with him until I ran out of breath. I would have continued indefinitely if........."…

Today was the day. The big day. My election for Lieutenant Governor of Division 2B for Key Club, an international service club, was today. Fear and anxiety pricked my skin in rapid movements emanating from every pore. I rehearsed my speech for the fifth time that day. Upon arrival at the Fairfax Library, I urged myself to remain calm. I quickly scouted out the other girls who were present; one girl was dressed professionally with a folder in her hand. I knew that was my competition. The girl spoke eloquently and genially, she radiated enthusiasm and a certain warmth that I did not have. With every question that was asked, she answered with a smooth smile and high-pitched tone that was dripping with sincerity. I bristled inside; I had just been slapped. I was shrouded in a cloud of anxiety and anxiousness. Suddenly, I was dragged from my reverie.…

Ever since I was born, I was a military brat. Not knowing where to call home, or if any place could be home, I moved. I moved six times, four of those places were towns that nobody could think about. Germany, North Carolina, Alaska, North Carolina, Germany, and Alaska, yet no place to call home. May 22, 1999, my first day on this world; Kronach hospital had its first American baby in their hands, yet they acted like I was a different species. The only event I remember was when I was about one. While I was one, I grabbed everything in my reach, even a grill handle. As a baby, I did not know that the handle was moving, the grill top had smashed my thumb. Ever since that event, I now have a starfish mark on the side of my right thumb from where the stiches were.…

In March 2011, I took a few days of classes and received my hunting education certification. Looking back, the actual class time is just a blur of what not to do, but I was reminded of them when I took drivers education last December, with the what not to do teachings. I also remember being very nervous about the test, but having a great feeling when I learned I passed. That October, I remember being immensely excited to go on my first hunt. The night before my dad and I left, I had a parent teacher conference and I remember getting some strange looks in the parking lot because we had a trailer loaded with tents, four wheelers, chairs, and a bunch of other stuff…

I do not know if anybody knows that song as well as I do but it definitely will have a place in my soul forever. The original version, conducted by Lynyrd Skynyrd, will never top the cover by Shinedown. Personally, I like the Shinedown version better, because the lead singer for Shinedown has an amazing voice that has become popular around the country. That song has a different meaning to me though then to my peers. I just want to become “A Simple Kind of Man” and nothing else. My mom told me that my brother and I need to live by this song. She said, “No matter what you become, emerge as a loving husband and a caring father, and you will have a life beyond satisfactory.”…
