This drive capitalized in a two yard touchdown run followed by the two point conversion, so the game was now tied 20-20. The Chiefs got the ball and proceeded to have a three-and-out. The Chiefs were in a bad situation. The Chargers had the ball with under 5 minutes left and good field position. The chargers got the ball down to the 15 yard line with under a minute to go. The Chiefs’ loss was inevitable. My grandpa and I began to get out of our seats and head out of the stadium, when suddenly there was a monstrous roar from the crowd. I turned around to see that Philip Rivers had fumbled the snap and the Chiefs had recovered the ball. It was a second life for the Chiefs. The Chiefs were unable to score in the remaining 48 seconds, and were forced to punt and head into overtime.
