her as much as possible. I also explained how I wanted to help with making her dinners and help her with taking care of her cats. My mom could already tell how much I wanted to help by the determined look in my eyes and how passionate I’ve felt about this. Her response made me feel exhilarated when she said we could help. When Leslie's procedure was done she stayed in the hospital for a couple days. While she was there I on the other hand, went to her house at six in the morning, two thirty in the afternoon and five at night to feed her cats. Leslie came home after three days, and I made sure that her house was nice and clean for her arrival. She came home around three in the afternoon and when she did, I came to visit and to checked up on her. When I visited I brought her dinner and we watched the baseball game. It was then on I had come to realize the enjoyment I have encountered helping others get better. Throughout the next two weeks I would feed Leslie's cats, check up on her after school and I would make her dinner. Granted, I would love to stay and talk with Leslie, but I had to also make sure I had got my homework done and my chores. At first it was hard, but I was very willpower of making sure I prioritize my time wisely so that I can focus on Leslie and my school work. As time started to proceed, Leslie started to heal and she did not need my help anymore. although I was sad, but it opened my eyes to much bigger things. I realized how much I loved helping her and if I could do that for others I could make a big impact on the world today.
To endure having a determination trait means staying positive and having the perseverance to pursue an idea or the desire to change the world.
I was very lucky to have gotten this attribute. What got me this characteristic was that very day when Leslie had told me she was getting surgery. The reason why Leslie was the reason I endured this characteristic was because I had the mindset to take care of Leslie yet, prioritize myself to also finish my homework. Today, I use this mindset of being determined in my everyday life. I used it for many of my extracurricular activities like the National Technical Honor Society, Link Crew, Leadership and Yearbook. Although I use them in my extracurricular activities, I also use determination to complete many school projects, essays and even to the extent, homework. In National Technical Honor Society, I utilize determination when we create projects to help build awareness for others like, donating blood for the blood drive and encouraging recycling to make the earth a better sufficient place. While in Link Crew, I manipulate the power of determination to help exemplify students to be the best they can be and to also have the best school experience as possible. In,Leadership I use determination to set an example for younger students to follow by staying positive, even under stress or frustration. As a matter of fact, I also use determination when the class is under a timed schedule with getting major events done. Above all, Yearbook is the one I intend to succeed in the most. Creating the Yearbook is like creating a story; I am so bound to making the book breathtaking compared to the previous ones. I am constantly adamant to get all my pages done on time, but also making sure they are very creative and well organized and thought out. As a result, in all of these accomplishments I have been known to be successful with the help of being
determined. Ultimately throughout these past few years, being determined has gifted me with so many life accomplishments. It has even helped me with finding the job I had never even dreamed of which, is being a radiologist. Enhancing to be victorious makes me want to work to the best of my ability in college. In the long run, I plan to help others that are in need. In the radiology department, I plan on incorporating my problem solving skills and my determination to solve the unthinkable. I want to go to college to use the trait I have received from a very good friend and get a degree to help others that are in need. To be determined is not just setting a goal and completing it, it is the ability to go above and beyond the impossible. To do the unthinkable.
