Personal Narrative: My Acting Career

My acting career began in fifth grade in Rome Little Theatre’s production of Charlotte’s Web. I started out as a simple fairgoer that went onstage once, but have since transitioned to larger leading roles, such as Genie in Aladdin, Monsieur Firmin in Phantom of the Opera, Shrek in Shrek the Musical, and Jesus in Godspell, all in this past season. I am currently in my 21st production in five years (not including church performances) as Jack in Into The Woods. The main venue I perform at is Rome Little Theatre, which despite the name, is the biggest community theatre company in the Rome area. Even though I have a very small theatre department at my school, I constantly find ways to perform in a variety of venues around the Centre, AL and Rome
