My first obstacle happened to be insufficient time for exercise. I created a short term goal which, was to exercise more than 45 minutes a day for three or more days a week. For this obstacle my goal was to begin my homework on time, or create a schedule to make more time available. This goal would not only impact my time to do homework and exercise, it would also give me more sleep. This was the hardest obstacle I had to overcome, since I have an overload of homework since the beginning of sophomore year. Regardless of this, I did not give up because this is a goal I wanted to accomplish for myself. To conquer this obstacle I began with writing down everything I had to do for the week, and began on it earlier in order to get a headstart. I did this for every week, it was very hard to do so but gradually became a little easier. I was able to continue this for the first two weeks, but afterwards doing so was very difficult. I had my partners to thank because they made sure I was keeping up with my goal. So far, up until now I have been able to organize my homework and set them into priorities. I will still continue to do this since it has helped me alot in and out of
