Personal Narrative: My Behavior Change
My Behavior Change was mainly on improving my nutrition, by intaking better foods such as fruits and vegetables and less amounts of fats. This change would help in achieving my long term goal which was losing weight, but gaining it back in lean muscle mass. I chose to focus on my weight, because it has always been something that I have had on the back of my mind. I found this project to be a great opportunity in order to change this, but in order to do so I had to identify my obstacles. I had a total of three which were insufficient time for exercise, school-related activities, and malnutrition.
My first obstacle happened to be insufficient time for exercise. I created a short term goal which, was to exercise more than 45 minutes a day for three or more days a week. In order to achieve this I had help from my partners and family, they gave me ideas in which I could adopt to accomplish my goal. One of my

For this obstacle my goal was to begin my homework on time, or create a schedule to make more time available. This goal would not only impact my time to do homework and exercise, it would also give me more sleep. This was the hardest obstacle I had to overcome, since I have an overload of homework since the beginning of sophomore year. Regardless of this, I did not give up because this is a goal I wanted to accomplish for myself. To conquer this obstacle I began with writing down everything I had to do for the week, and began on it earlier in order to get a headstart. I did this for every week, it was very hard to do so but gradually became a little easier. I was able to continue this for the first two weeks, but afterwards doing so was very difficult. I had my partners to thank because they made sure I was keeping up with my goal. So far, up until now I have been able to organize my homework and set them into priorities. I will still continue to do this since it has helped me alot in and out of
