Personal Narrative: My Bikes
them in my arms. I finish my walk to my bike and place the milk and mayo in the basket of my bike along with the three half eaten jars of mayonnaise that are already sitting there still.
I come to the top of the hill and I become anxious to go down. I steadily raise my feet from the pedals and give myself a gentle push. The little push was just enough to send me flying down the hill that was a struggle getting up before. The hard work has payed off and now I am on the easy road, things were looking up for me now. The bright, yellow sun warms the Earth around me and a little butterfly keeps up with my pace. I am finally at peace with my surroundings and life agrees with me. I close my eyelids while placing my bunny feet on the handlebars of my bike and leaning back as far as I can without falling off.

The surface was cold and smooth with rays of light reflecting off of it. I carefully ajar my eyes to discover my body is on top of a car´s hood and my bike intertwining with my legs. My limbs still connected to my body are twist around my metal transportation like a pretzel. I cautiously move my arms to a position I can free myself. I untangle my limbs from the metal and set my bike back onto the asphalt. The wheels look a little deformed, but still seem like they will do the job of bringing me back home. I get back on with a smile and a bump on the head.
I end up at the bottom of the hill next to the brick building that I call home. I casually walk to the big, black door of my apartment building with my bike in hand. I open the door and turn my body to grab my bike, I twist back around to see the opening to the building is shut again. With my bike still in hand, I keep the door prop open with my butt and shove the hunk of metal through the opening with much force. I follow behind it and slam the door after I walk

My choice has got me bruised, fractured and, or almost clean breaks. My choice is bull riding. When I was 10 I started to ride. My first ride I hung on and got 2nd place. I thought it was so fun and easy that I would try it with no gear because I got beginner's luck. So the next rodeo was my keiki rodeo and I thought I could ride it.... 3 seconds went by and I got stepped on my hand and back. I had been checked out by the ambulance and ice packed. I thought just because it happened one time it wouldn't happen again. So I tried riding with only chaps so my legs would get as sore. So my next keiki rodeo I hung on for 6 second, which means I made my time, but just as I heard the buzzer ring with a loud "brapppphhh" I flopped over onto my back…

The day I took off on my 4 wheeler, and left my Mom and Dad in the dust. It started out awesome and fun, then turned out to be very scary. It was July 4, 2013, my family and I loaded up our 4 wheelers for a fun day in the great outdoors. We all unloaded our 4 wheelers, then took off out into the desert. I wanted to see how fast I could go around the sharp corners on dirt roads. It was so much. I broke my arm today while getting on the freight train. Thank God I still have an arm unlike some of the other I have meet who have lost an arm or leg and some even know someone who has lost their life ( Riding the Rails). I have done this a couple of time now and I shouldn't have been so anxiety about it but I was. I hide under the track outside the yard like I normally do, waiting for the train to reach momentum so I could get on. I forgot to check for the bull guards who are hired to keep hoboes from jumping on freight. I guess I got too comfy with my environment( Riding the rails). Right when I was getting on the trains, I heard the bull guards yelling and chasing after me. It threw me off my balance and I nearly fell off the train. I…

Slowly I open my eyes but all I see is blurriness and my vision is really hazy… All I can see is the soft silhouette of a woman standing over me. Suddenly I feel a soft, pudgy, cool, finger press down between my eyes and I feel my eyes roll back into my skull... … Panting heavily I could finally see a building in the near distance. I ran five miles every other day so this shouldn't have been anything but the fact that I was in my work clothes and that I was pushing a four-hundred pound motorcycle my journey a lot more gruesome and tiring. But it took my about an hour which was about the time I thought it would have taken me to push my bike home and this was only supposed to be about three miles away, but, I was probably just tired because of the heat...…

I used to love reading. In kinder and first, my nose was stuck in a Magic Tree House book. Third, fourth, and fifth grade I basically lived at Hogwarts (in my rightfully sorted house, of course, I am a proud Hufflepuff). And in middle school, I discovered THE tween series of my generation, Maximum Ride. Reading was exciting, and even though I had done it for years every time I picked up a book it felt so novel. I was your ordinary bookworm until seventh grade when the joint power of Ms. Green’s teaching and James Patterson’s writing broke my will to read.…

I snap back to reality and notice that my speedometer read 30 mph. I was in a 20 mph zone. I slam on the brakes to slow down. Behind me, a driver lays on his horn to tell me how irresponsible my last decision was. I reach for the radio and turn the tuner dial until I find something upbeat and groovy. As I remove my hand, I begin to hit on the steering wheel like a drum. The steering wheel is black and coverless. It sounds good when I hit it. It is also keeping me awake at the moment. My step mom sat next to me in the passenger’s seat messing around with her phone. She never pays attention to me when I’m driving. I see a curb on the next right turn I have to take. After running over the curb, my step mom glances up to make sure I did not hit anyone. When realizing that everything is fine, she goes back to Facebook on her phone. The darkness of night was exhausting. My eyes fluttered in the beams of the yellow street lights. In a couple of blocks, I make another right turn. Then a left turn into my driveway. I turn off the engine and let out a sigh of relief. I reach for my door handle and pull, eager to go to my bed. My legs wobble underneath me as I stumble out of the truck. I am finally…
