Am I ready for college? I guess that was never a question I really thought about. I knew that all throughout high school I was going to go into college. But the question is, am I ready for it? Has high school prepared me for college? Had every paper I have written been building block to success for college writing? Though school I have written papers based off of research, and personal opinions. I have been an A student for as long as I can remember. I have gotten A's and B's on almost all papers I have handed in. As a kid I was very passionate about writing; me and my brothers would sit and collaborate on story's that we have made up and wrote on paper. We enjoyed to sit and pick at one another's story's till they were perfect. But that love soon turned into disgust. I was only writing because I was forced to. This course helped to strengthen my ability to write opinionated and story-telling essays. Writing Workshop was a semester long course and every week of that semester we would spend writing a new paper. I feel as if that class really challenge me on a number of things. For example, writing opinionated essays helped me to open up more with my opinions at school and or in the work place. Another example being, the course taught me how to tell a story on paper. My freshman year of College I desire to learn how to better my writing by enhancing what I already know in English. I came to college prepared to learn the ins and outs of writing a college-level essay. I am taking English 098 to better myself in the subject and writing in general. I want to be able master the art of making thesis statements, and making a higher quality conclusion. I yearn to put myself into every essay I
