What I feel about these findings is large disappointment. For starters cutting out meat is a hard thing to do. I find that it is especially hard when you are raised in a meat eating family, and still live with them. Growing up meat was the main source of our meal. Especially if the meat and/or products are shipped in from far away, and tightly packaged. I never really thought that buying and using local product would make that huge of a difference. Nothing specific worked out in my favor. One thing I always do is turn off and unplug all appliances when I leave my room. The fact that I am never home helps keep these items off. Still, my one small step did not make a difference in such a large household.
I found that the quiz wasn’t necessarily all that accurate. I may live at home with a large family but I am hardly a part of this household. I am always away, eating elsewhere, and hardly use any appliances. The footprint asked specifically how many people live in this house, and how much electricity, and gas is used in a months’ time. I can honestly say that I am not the one using up most of these items.

While I may go on a trip I do not have the details of hours in flight until the time comes. For example, I hadn’t flown in three years, and then suddenly I was on two 26 hour flights out of the country in one year. So, I left the answer to how much I fly at 0-4 hours a year, and it added to the footprint information that I don’t believe is
