Personal Narrative: My Experience Of Moving To New York
I was born and raised in Jammu and Kashmir where strife between religious communities, terrorism, and lack of clean water and healthcare were part of the norm. I lived in a world where many people, like my grandparents, had to endure suffering because there weren't any available doctors or hospitals. The closest medical center, which so happened to be located quite a distance away, lacked doctors and medical staff, and as a result forced patients to amble in the hallways. In fact, almost all of these patients were transferred to another hospital because of the lack of resources to treat them.
On top of that, I recall the experience of my move to New York. The fact that I could only speak Hindi not only made make my days more difficult, but
