Personal Narrative: My Experience With A Tan/White Dog

On 06/23/16, at 7:30pm, I was dispatched to 4822 E Livingston Ave on two dogs at large, no known owner. I arrived at the location and was met by the complainant. The complainant stated that there were two dogs in her neighbor’s back yard and that do not belong to her neighbor. I went into the backyard and was able to get a tan/white and black /white jack terrier to approach me with doggie treats. I was able to look on both dog collars and see that the black/white dog was named Oreo and the Tan/White dog was name Cookie. I was unable to place a leash on either dog. Both dogs got scared and ran away from me; both dogs ran under a large bush. I had to utilize my snore pole to get to the dogs. I was able to capture the black/White dog.
