I walked in with the roar of talking and laughter in the halls, with entirely new faces. I didn’t like it since I missed my old friends at Kraemer Middle School. When I got home, my mother said,
“It will be okay, last time you went to a new school you didn’t like it either, but it was all right after a few weeks.”
I agreed with my mom and decided to give it a chance, although I was still unsure of whether I would "fit in."
To help me ignore the title that I had as "the new kid," I made a commitment to focus on my academic studies instead of on my social status. Some teachers helped play a part in helping me make friends when they would assign group projects so that I could know some of my classmates. My parents were also a crucial part of guiding me throughout this challenge. They helped comfort me and were very understanding of the situation.
By going through doubt and change, there was a result of a variety of useful occurrences. I got to know other students like me that have similar likings, and some that don't. I also learned a few different ways how some other scholars accomplished their tasks that were distinctly diverse from my methods. Although pieces of the puzzle are falling into place, I constantly have more to explore and discover about San
