He was ignited with joy, adrenaline, and many other emotions that I couldn’t tell at the time, and he was laughing because we were just seeded as the third team. I was overjoyed at the thought that we just got the best seed we’ve had all year! I started laughing and I looked at my Mom, she waved and gave me a thumbs up but I couldn’t wait to get out of that dirty dugout just to give my mom the biggest hug that I could ever give to my mom. Then my coach told our team that we made it to the final four teams! I’m pretty sure that everyone around us were annoyed with us cheering so loudly. My Dad came up to me grinning because he knew that I could do it when I thought I couldn’t do it. Afterwards, we all headed out to Buffalo Wild Wings and we ate a whole lot of food, I ate barbeque wings and whatever appetizer Mom and Dad decided on. Our team sat together and we talked about the game and caught up on each other’s lives because we don’t see everyone on a daily basis. I, on the other hand, was just sitting back relaxing listening to everyone talk and hearing our team become a family again. Coach Raymond told us that we all needed to be at the field at seven tomorrow morning and we need to be ready to play a tough team, our rivals the J-Cards. Ever since I joined W.C. Slammers the J-Cards always hated my team, they would always talk trash ab out us and say that we suck and that we all had little talent for softball. That night I set out everything that I needed for tomorrow morning; uniform, cleats, slip on shoes, water bottle, and made sure my bag was out in my Dad’s
