Personal Narrative: My Interest In The Dental Field
My interest in the dental field began when I was very young. I remember when my grandparents used to take me to the toy shop and I used to pick out dental toys instead of typical ones such as Barbie’s, dolls, or kitchen appliances. I would get so excited to get home and pretend to clean my brothers’ teeth. After a few years of such behavior, it was evident to myself and those around me that I had an unexplainable attraction to this profession. It got to a point where I began to fake tooth aches just so that my parents would take me to the dental clinic; being in a dental chair made me that happy.
