Personal Narrative: My Life As A Drill Sergeant
Ever since I was little I was always content with what I was given and what I had, I never once wished for more. My parents used to tell them that I wasn’t like other kids, other kids looked down and begged for more; I looked up and saw the food on my table and a roof over my head, life was good. I was content with life until life wasn’t so peaceful and happy. Life became stressful and tiring when it met two things: my senior year and my drill sergeant parents. There has only been four times I’ve witnessed my parents become drill sergeants, is when each of my four older siblings started apply for college. It was ugly. “If you don’t go into the medical field you won’t have a stable income and you can’t afford anything!” my dad would say
