The sound of the rain lightly hitting the water,
The sun ducking behind the clouds, as if it were hiding from something.
My clothes weighing down, drenched with water.
Fishing pole in my hand standing at the end of my friends dock.
As I was walking my topwater lure back to me,
Suddenly a bass blew up on it right infront of me.
It scared me a little making me jump as I reeled the fish in.
I was as excited as excited as someone stranded at sea finding civilization
For I had not caught a fish yet all day.
Joy bouncing around in me, I went to unhook the fish,
As I was unhooking the first hook the fish shook,
And that is when everything went bad.
