Personal Narrative: My Love With Football
I remember the first tackle football team my dad coached and I was on it. My dad, well he loves football and he so desperately wanted me to play football and become good. Well back then I was a lot smaller believe it or not and that very first game I scored a touchdown, and I remember how proud my dad was of me. You could say that day I also became in love with football.

One early spring morning it was a beautiful day and my dad took me turkey hunting for the first time. I was so excited to go I was up and ready at 2 in the morning he woke up around 6 and we headed out the door, father and son side by side walked down to the blind. Around daybreak we heard this Tom (Male Turkey) gobble, and at that moment my heart was pounding out of my chest,

So we started and we built on this thing for 2 ½ months and we were finally done. It turned out pretty cool, we had bought this mini fridge, pull out couch, we built bunk beds, had a really cool radio, we ran cable, we had TV, and a heater. I would say for a couple of kids we did alright. The moral was that when we wanted something we just went and got it.

Seaman vs. Washburn Rural, 2014 football season both teams are 0-3. It was a very hard, hitting game. I separated my shoulder is what I found out after the game. Anyway it was the start of the third quarter we were on defense and the quarter back takes the ball drops back and sack him and force a FUMBLE recovered by Seaman at that point we were up 14-7. I got my picture sacking him on the front page of the paper. It was the 4th quarter and they had the ball on our 5 yard line for 10 plays we stop them on all 10 and we picked him off and took it back all the way to there 10 and we won 21-14. One of the greatest feelings ever.

In my 18 years I’ve had a lot of adventures some more than others I am proud of. My proudest moments are yet to come and I can’t wait for what the future has for me. I would like to thank everyone who made my memories what they are, wouldn’t change em for the

Sue Rodriguez, once a woman who was lively and healthy women much like the rest of us was given the horrible news that she had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis in early 1991 changing her life tremendously. Little did she know her fight for equality of life would create a milestone in Canadian Law. Sue Rodriguez fought long and hard to demand the right to assisted suicide, which at the time was illegal under the Criminal Code of Canada, being a punishable act for up to a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison. Ms. Rodriguez argued that Section 241 (b) of the Criminal Code (which prohibits assisted suicide) violated her constitutional right to life, liberty and security of the person under S. 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Unfortunately both the British Columbia Supreme Court and the British Columbia Court of Appeal dismissed her application. Sue Rodriguez at her final attempt of trying to grant herself the right to assisted suicide appealed to the Supreme Court of Canada, the verdict resulting in a five to four decision with the Supreme Court of Canada dismissing her appeal. In 1994, Ms. Rodriguez decided to take matters into her own hands, with the help of an anonymous physician Sue Rodriguez ended her life.…

I instantly became sick and thought about leaving the game. My mom was on the sideline, so I went over to her and told her about me being afraid to throw the ball. It all started at ninth street with some friends of mine John and I started recruiting some people to come play football with us. I honestly didn’t know I had a pretty decent arm. I originally was going to start practicing to play wide receiver instead of quarterback. At the time Odell Beckham Jr. ( wide receiver for the New York Giants ) was extremely explosive and dynamic on offense. Seeing him blow up on offense made me want to try out for wide receiver. But somehow John convinced me to play quarterback.…

My soccer career started as soon as I could walk, but somehow I still wasn’t very good at it at the age of 13. You'd assume ten years of practice and a sister who'd been the mvp of her high school team would have rubbed off on me, but that wasn’t the case. That is to say, I wasn't absolutely pitiful. I was pretty quick, and I could get a good foot on the ball about four times out of ten.…
