Personal Narrative: My Night At Club Diesel

I had departed early on Thursday for my descent back to the cold chilly city of Pittsburgh. During the day, my friend who attends Duquesne University in downtown invited me to a night on the town with her and her friends to go to the 3Lau concert at Club Diesel. Usually the club is over 21 on every night, but Thursday’s are different you only have to be 18 years of age or older. Whenever she announced that 3Lau would be performing there, I became too enthusiastic and eager. I had witnessed them once before and they were remarkable, so I immediately agreed to go with them. I arrived home and speedily snatched a bag up of clothes and necessities to stay over her dorm room that night, jumped in my car, and maneuvered down to Pittsburgh. Once I arrived at her dorm, I was introduced to her group of friends and her roommate who would be joining
I strolled through the hallway and noticed how many people were crowded into one small space. Club Diesel isn’t the typical sports bar that you usually would see on the strip down in East Carson. It did not have the open doorways or small bars with televisions, but it had been just as compact. The only element that assisted with the amount of people inside was that it was multi-leveled allowing you to escape upstairs to have some breathing room. 3Lau was coming on in a half hour, so we had some downtime to socialize and relax in the crowd, which consisted mostly of college students in their late teens and mid-twenties. The crowds’ age had helped in the enjoyment since related and socialized with most of the people around me. We met some people who were a little too insane and others who just wanted to sit around the entire time. We bounced from people to people introducing ourselves and creating small talk. Finally after waiting, 3Lau announced his name and showed up on the stage in front of the dark
