Personal Narrative: My Obstacles In The Road

Growing up I faced many obstacles in the road. My parents got divorced when I was in eighth grade. Along with many other hardships. I escaped my pain by eating, and becoming obese. By the time I was a sophomore in high school I weighed over 300 pounds. I was consistently getting bullied by my peers and even parents of my peers. That summer I knew it was time to make a change. I joined a race called The Spartan Race, I did one race that summer and it all clicked. I had never been more motivated to make a change in my life. That summer I went on a diet and worked out every single day. I lost over 100 pounds. When I came back to school, no one knew who I was, everyone was in shock. However I continued to lose weight and dropped down to 160 pounds.
