I plan on going with some classmates; we plan on cleaning up the trails and the rest of the preserve. The ways I plan on helping are by picking up garbage and trimming trees. When we save the environment from trash and wastes, I want to see the benefits for these animals. If it tremendously helps the environment, that would be so amazing. More than likely, this will help the environment and my personal relationship with nature will increase with this project.
My health will be improved by this project by actually getting up off the video games, and save animals lives from people’s wastes. When we help the trees, it will increase the amount of oxygen produced which helps everyone’s air quality. This directly helps me, and not only me but many others. Without trees there would not be that much oxygen on this planet. Also my health will improve with manual labor when were outside raking leaves from the trails.
Some problems that I might face during the project are maybe my rake breaks, or I might step on a cactus on the trail. The help that I will get is from the classmates and the tour guides that will help us clean. Also the help that we will get if anyone needs help with their problems, will be the Preserve itself. The Preserve will have all the equipment needed to help the environment. Another problem we may face is lack of water, which may lead to

Trash, garbage, junk, debris-all alternatively known as litter-scattered across the 268,597 square miles of Texas on our highways and landscapes. Where former First Lady Claudia Alta "Lady Bird" Johnson aspired to see bright and colorful wildflower blanketing the great Texas countryside, oftentimes we only see disturbing amounts of garbage. This is what I aim to change. Through my school's Key Club I have had the opportunity to have a positive impacts in reducing the "over 435 million pieces of visible litter" covering "our empire wide and glorious." In the thirty-eight total service hours I have dedicated to both Texas Adopt-A-Highway and school wide recycling the amount of litter that myself and the generous volunteers…

she played and started every game. The team was able to advance to nationals two out of the three years. Many memories were made with her teammates. One memory was at a home game, the gym was completely packed full of fans that supported Mesa university and the rival team, the Cardinals. Each year the two teams go to 5 five games, that are too close to call. The intensity in each one of the girls faces radiate and rub off onto the crowd. Mesa won the first two matches with little effort, then for the first time in the entire game the other girls started to hit the ball with power. It was predawn, after a rainy, foggy car ride through the humid Panamanian countryside,we landed in the Comarca of the Guna Yala Indians. An archipelago of over 300 islands just offthe north coast of Panama in the Caribbean Sea where the land is bathed in azure blue, whitesands, palm trees and little huts made of bits and pieces of island debris. We would spend theentire day picking up garbage, dirty diapers, medical devices, styrofoam and junk that wereinvading the most beautiful beaches I have ever laid my eyes on. My friends and fellow studentsof the eco-bio club at my high school were in for a long and tiring day. However, we would notbe intimidated! We were preparing for our long-term project that would ultimately take us toMonterrey,…

The time went fast as I learned about the preservation of land. I live in Mequon, Wisconsin. For about 15 years I have lived across a vacant acre of land on Mequon road. As the season’s pass by I watched various types of birds fly from the trees and visualize the paw prints in the snow of the fox and other animals that live or pass through. There are also many different species of plants and trees that grow on the vacant land. I sometimes will see neighbors cutting some of the dried plants in fall. And in spring the birds and rabbits are flying and jumping all over. I volunteered for a couple of places this year. The city of Mequon always needs volunteers and many of the senior citizens in the area need help in spring clean up. During the last 6 weeks I have looked at environment science more in-dept and it changed the way I think and look at the land across the street. This class has made me aware of all the different ways that the community and its physical environment work.…

On the first day of school, I went to Brush Creek with a chunk of the freshman to help clean out the trash from Brush Creek. We split up into groups of nine and went to different parts of the creek and cleaned out all of the junk that got in there. Cleaning out the creek is very important for the community because it helps keep animals safe. Although all of the principles from the Grad @ Grad apply to this, committed to doing justice is a key principle in this activity. I learned a lot about how litter can affect our earth and how much litter there is. You can tell how important cleaning the creek is by finding out that Kansas City has started a 25 year, $2.5 billion project to fix the sewer and drainage systems so trash from other places doesn’t…
