We then move on to the Japan exhibit. Something right as I walked in that caught my eye was the Life-Size Painted and Lacquered Figure of a Seated Patriarch or Monk. I read the description of it and was pleased to find out it had to do with Zen Buddhism. Although we did not touch a lot on Monks this year, I still did have a bit of general knowledge about them so I decided to use it as one of my artifacts. After that, we moved onto Egypt. Even though there were many artifacts involving mummies and such, I decided to go down the road of Gods. There was a huge artifact called The Goddess Sekhmet and after reading about it, I added it to my list. There was a lot to take in while browsing through the Egyptian exhibit but I did learn a lot. After touring through Egypt, we went downstairs to visit North America and Africa. I decided against doing an artifact from the exhibit of North America. Instead I did two artifacts from two different exhibits in Africa. One artifact was from Africa, and the other was from the evolution of humans. They are technically two different exhibits so I figure it is
