Personal Narrative: My Trip To Wisconsin
On a warm sunny summer day, my family and I were preparing to leave our home in California to set out on a long trip to Wisconsin where our family would stay there for good. I had moved before in my life, but that was when I was 3. This was a much bigger deal, as I had been living there for 7 or 8 years. On my last day, I spent most of it spending time with one of my very good friends. Looking back on it, it was a good way to spend that last day, but more could have been done within the subsequent weeks. After getting back from being with my friend, my entire family and even a few more friends were all taking part in moving a lot of our stuff into cars and trucks. Yes, cars and trucks. California to Wisconsin, somewhere around 2000 miles. The bold …show more content…
This was for a few reasons but mostly was because of the fact that my dad is in a hot truck with a big dog and lots of luggage. Whilst on the trip, I really had nothing to do. At the time, I had no sorts of real electronic to play around with so I just looked out the window and my mom played some tunes on the radio. My family and I had very different taste when it came to music, so I had to do my best to deal with it. Although, it was better than nothing. On the bright side, it was a road trip, so I could have just about as much fast food as I would like. Another problem along the way was being in the wrong place at the wrong time. A gas stop was needed next to a road leading to Las Vegas in the Mojave Desert. From what I recall, it was 117 degrees outside. Let's just say that I stayed inside the car for most of it. The first of three hotel stops was in Salt Lake City, Utah. The following morning as we started back on our journey where I started to realize that I will barely ever talk to my friends again. However, I did try to brush it off, which ended up

The first place I would pick to move to is the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Everyone forgets about this part of Michigan, half of the time it isn’t on the weather maps on the news. I think it would still be hard because I would have to pick up my life and transfer it to another world. At this point I understand that I would have to give up the luxuries I love so much. I would keep my phone but I cannot take my entire bedroom, my car, or my school with me. I know a lot of my family would stay put. They would suffer through it because they wouldn’t believe it until it was actually happening. My mother’s side of the family is very old fashioned and will not leave their ground because they have already been here so long and have worked so hard.…

It was a crisp cold fall day at Lambeau field. I could see everything that was happening the whole entire time. The field was as green as a tree in the middle of Summer. The cold wind was whistling in my ear. The smell the hot dogs, burgers, and turf from the field filled my nose as the game begin. All I could hear were people cheering on the Packers and the jumbotron blaring, “Go pack go!” I could see the running back Eddie Lacy drive the ball into the end zone and everyone went wild. A mix people cheering and screaming filled my ears. After the opposing team returned the ball everyone started cheering, “Defense, defense, defense!” The watched the ball get intercepted and run down the field for another touchdown! People know Vermont’s Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream and maple syrup better than they know Vermont itself. This was true for me as well: I had no idea where Vermont was before I actually stepped on this land three years ago. The town called Manchester was as rural as I could imagine, but it brought me a fresh living experience and inspired me to appreciate the beauty of nature.…

Last summer, on the last day of June, was a day that I will never forget. It was around three in the afternoon and I was very hungry. My parents don’t buy junk food, so I usually ask to walk to the nearby store to get some for myself. This time my dad said no! And he explained that we were eating dinner in an hour or so and that he didn’t want to take a chance of me not eating at dinner. As a twelve year old “adult” that I thought I was, I disobeyed my dad and went to the store by myself.…

The lake is rumoured to have man eating otters surrounding the premises. I don’t like to go as much because I don’t like those scary stories about the lake and we usually run out of food at the lake. We’re going to visit the lake in a couple of days and I’m scared of the otters at the lake. I’ve been having nightmares about it every night and can’t seem to get my mind right and back on track because of it and I haven’t been eating as much as I used to. It is making me lose weight, my mom and friends don’t call me meatball anymore. I usually eat up to eight thousand calories a day and now that I don't eat much, I only eat 4 thousand which is too little for me. Right now I’m packing my food for the trip to the lake since it will take us about 2 days to arrive there and I don’t want another dog incident to happen. I am hoping that the story is fake about the man eating otters is fake and I can gain my weight back.…

It was supposedly the best summer of my life. My parents finally agreed that I can drive to work although I did not have a driver’s permit. I was so excited because I had never driven a car without someone by my side. So I got in what was supposedly going to be my car and vanished in seconds before they thought about changing their minds. The few weeks after that day were smooth as I had begun to take good control of the car, and everything was running smoothly except for a small filter that I was going to change which made the car turn off on its own. With my mother always telling me to drive safe before leaving the house, I often did… until that night.…
