Personal Narrative: Racial Conflict In Soccer
I have a lot of experiences about different races. I remembered there was a time about different races conflict that happened during soccer season. That time I was captain so I stood up and ask “ I am not in either sides but we are a team, we suppose to play as a team and help each other out with any kind of needed”. It was hot sunny day I was so tired. I looked mad and I was mad so they all say a words. The next day they came to the game and play good as a team. My coach came to me and said “ I picked a really small captain that brought positive attitude to the team”. At that moment I felt proud and happy as the same time. Since Winooski school district is very diverse there was a lot immigrants all over the world. I was friends with everyone

    Jackie accepted the contacted offered by Branch Rickey and he signed it during October of 1945 a day that broke the color barrier between baseball athletes. Jackie started with the Montreal Royals a minor league team associated with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
