Personal Narrative: Reach Out And Read

When I was younger, my mom and my dad would read to me every night. I was lucky enough to have the family and resources to make reading a priority. Through reading, my parents gave me a strong basis for school, yet many families cannot provide their children with the same opportunity. By participating in Reach Out and Read, I can continue my family tradition with less fortunate children. The simple act of reading will engage bright minds, give them a strong start, and let them experience extraordinary adventures. Especially at a young age, the hours I put in will get them the strong start they need to have success in school and throughout life. I was given so much as a child, while many other were given nothing. I want to participate in Reach
