I grew up in the bad parts of Philadelphia. My parents were very poor. I had to rob to get food for my family and I. There were shootings and killings every day, and I was the lucky one to survive, but one day a criminal broke into our house to rob us and killed my parents. From that day on, I swore to stop any criminal so that no one would have to deal with the pain I had to deal with. It was a beautiful sunny morning. The birds were chirping the flowers were blooming, and the children were playing. It's 11:00 am and our main character, Starboy Stevie Be is going for his daily …show more content…
“Mr Starboy,” he says. “Oh hello José. How's your day going?”
“ Oh it's going great, and I just finished sending in the reports.”
“ Good job, you should take the day off”. It's 1:00 pm and it’s time for Starboy to go home to his house in Beverly Hills. On his way home, he noticed a very odd looking person, then BANG, it came to him, it was the the most dangerous criminal in the world. The news said they had him locked up in a prison in the middle of the ocean. His name was Bob III. What was he doing in Hollywood? Starboy knows that he is up to no good and has to do something about it. Instead of calling the cops, Starboy took matters into his own hands and went after him. As Starboy was running after him, Bob III turned around and said, “ Ah Mr. Starboy, I was expecting you, I heard you are a famous accountant that also fights crime for fun. Yes, that's true and I came to stop you. Why, I'm just here to rob this bank no biggie, says Bob III. That's why, you are a dangerous criminal that belongs in prison. You can put me in prison if you can catch me. POOF!! There was smoke everywhere and just like that, Bob III was gone. Where could he have ran off to?

Purchasing real estate or making a transaction of this size will always maintain a level of risk. The low liquidity of real estate poses the biggest risk. As the investment carries substantial upfront costs and for length of time I own the property, expenses can be high. The risk may be higher for this particular home as it has been listed for a number of months with a number of times where they lowered the price. Suggesting the perceived market value of the home to be less than what it is listed for. This may give reason as to why the house is no longer listed, but was not sold. However, homes in the area have been sold for a large range making valuation of the neighborhood difficult. In any other city in Michigan I would worry about the risk of vacancy losses. However, as Grand Rapids is the fastest growing city in the state and with Grand Valley State University’s campuses so close this isn’t a that much of a worry. With proper marketing and advertising the right tenants can be reached. However, the rental rate is higher than properties within the neighborhood which can prove difficult to account for.…

The article Improving Accounting Students’ Writing Skills is about how many accounting students don’t realize how much writing is truly involved with being an accountant. It also explains that communication skills are one of the five core competencies outlined in the CPA Vision Project, tested on the CPA exam, and demanded by employers. Due to advancements in technology, accountants are spending less time gathering, processing, and reporting information, and more time strategizing and interpreting information. In a recent study one third of employers are unhappy with accountants writing skills. The CPA Vision Project plans to improve accountants’ writing skills to further satisfy their employers’ needs. One of the core competencies, communication and leadership skills, is the ability to “give and exchange information within meaningful context and with appropriate delivery and interpersonal skills.” In order to achieve this vision, accounting classes need to begin to stress the importance of having good writing skills necessary to become a successful accountant.…

The story began at the specific place of their appointed place and time. It is nearly 10 o’clock at night and really dark out there. A policeman making his rounds, rattling door knobs to make sure everything is secure on his beat. In the doorway of a hardware store that is closed, he comes across a man who has an unlit cigar in his mouth. Before the officer can begin to question him, the man assures him that he is not a burglar that he is merely waiting for a friend. He goes on to light his cigar and tell the officer why he and his friend are meeting at such a dark and desolate place. The man, who is Bob, told him that he was waiting for a friend he has not seen for twenty years. Years before he and his friend had agreed to meet at the very spot to discuss how their life had turned out. The man keeps on telling to the policeman how his life turned out good that he actually became rich and successful. Talking about his best friend, he told the policeman that Jimmy will never fail to appear in their agreement for he has been a constant good companion. After saying all these to the policeman, the latter dismisses himself.…
