The war was unfair. Put simply and without prevarication. Unfair for so many, so many families lost their sons, brothers, fathers, uncles, nephews, and adorations. Not only did this egotistic & gluttonous human act dismantle innocent families, it destroyed the whole world as one. It took down landmarks, some of the only remnants left of the ancient world, shook up steady, established allies between countries and continents, and wobbled what was once, a steadily turning planet. The world would never be the same again.
Lastly, the war never ended. People thought that once the Treaty of Versailles was signed, everything would go back to the way it was. It didn’t. Nothing would ever be like it was again. People and places were gone, never to be found again, along with the old ways that the world used to follow.
