Peyton sketch

I always liked basketball. In third grade
I played my first practice. I was nervous I didn’t even make one goal. I thought that this sport is not right for me but i gave it another shot.

We had practice and we played a game of horse.
I shot and made a point. Coach told me the game is tomorrow at that I would do great! So I practice more I could shoot the ball but it was only my first year playing so I got ready for the game the next day.

At my game I was very nervous.
At my first game I made the winning point. Ever since then,I never been afraid to shoot the ball. Ever year I get better and better

After finishing my breakfast the game started and I was a starting point guard and i was also the jumper. I tipped the ball to my team we started with it. By the end of the first quarter we were up 12-0 with all points scored by me. In the second quarter we started with the ball and immediately scored on the other team. After scoring the immediate basket we all knew this quarter was going to be like the first one, a total blow out. We ended the second quarter 21-0 still with all points scored by me.…

AND ONE!!!! It was the last basketball game of my sophomore season. We played Stagg at Home, in the main gym. Everyone was there because it was the last game and it was at home. Coach Thompson substituted me for Darius with 5 minutes and 42 seconds left to play, we were already up 10 so he just emptied out his bench to give everyone some final playing time. When I got in I instantly caught fire. I don’t know what got into me I just couldn’t miss, even if I wanted to. I was making mid- range shots, 3’s and I was also getting to the basket. My first shot was a pull up jumper about 15 feet away from the basket, it was nothing but net. After I made that shot I felt as if I could do anything, so I kept scoring. When I made my first 3, the team basically…

“LET’S GO BOYS!!!! LET’S WIN THIS!!! BEAT THESE RAVENS!!!!!!” The crowd was screaming and chanting wildly as we began to run out of the locker rooms and onto the large football field. I lead them, raising my arms up and down to signal the crowd to get louder with their cheers. As I did this, I was also sprinting to the middle of the field through the large slit that was cut for my eyes. I turned back to the crowd in the stands, and the players ran around me, with smiles of their faces, to get to their positions and the bench. I started to jump and raise my arms, “ FROGGY!!! FROGGY!!! FROGGY!!!” They all chanted my name in union, some of them even had signs and horns! A large smile crept onto my face behind my large mascot mask, and I couldn’t…

It was a crisp cold fall day at Lambeau field. I could see everything that was happening the whole entire time. The field was as green as a tree in the middle of Summer. The cold wind was whistling in my ear. The smell the hot dogs, burgers, and turf from the field filled my nose as the game begin. All I could hear were people cheering on the Packers and the jumbotron blaring, “Go pack go!” I could see the running back Eddie Lacy drive the ball into the end zone and everyone went wild. A mix people cheering and screaming filled my ears. After the opposing team returned the ball everyone started cheering, “Defense, defense, defense!” The watched the ball get intercepted and run down the field for another touchdown! The crowd roared and I got…

Then I tripped out of bounds. After that I threw a pass to the other team. After a while of doing really bad I thought no one would like me because I was bad. Eventually I didn’t think it could be any worse but then I got packed and turned the ball over right at the end of the 2nd quarter. Finally it was halftime, a time I could cool down and redeem myself. After 15 minutes of talking, the 3rd quarter started and I made five three pointers in a row. Then I crossed a kid up and then shot a layup. All of a sudden I was actually doing well after halftime. After the game ended a boy on my team came up to me and asked if I wanted to hangout sometime.…

In high school my passion for basketball grew as I became a more skilled player and started to dedicate more time to the sport. I had finally lost all the extra weight and honed my skills on the court. At first, the coach didn't put me into as manyy games as I wanted to, however that didn't stop me from developing my game. I continued to go to the gym on my own and working on my skillset; doing ball handling drills, working on my defense, and getting at least 500 shots up a day. My hard work finally paid off, when the coach gave me a chance to play in the playoff game and I scored 18 points off the bench and hit a game winning shot. I vividly remember that game because afterwards coach brought me over to the side and told me if i keep plating…
