After spending time with the dog, I noticed it was a she, and started calling her Josie. Josie and I waited for a little longer to see if someone would come looking for their dog. As we were waiting, I started brainstorming ideas on what I should do with Josie. As I was brainstorming, I noticed that Josie was too friendly to be a stray and what she meant by she was lost was that she had a loving family, but she also didn’t have a collar on. I came up with three ideas while brainstorming, one, bring her to the pound, two, take her with me, or three, try to track her family down. I didn’t want to bring her to the pound just in case something bad would happen to her, so option one was out. I did want to take her with me, but I didn’t think that was the right thing to do because her family probably is worried, so I went with option three. To track someone or something down, I have to spin around three times and repeat what I want to track down three times. So I got up and spun around three times and said “Find a family with a lost dog.” Three times. When I got done spinning, I closed my eyes and a map popped up and showed me three homes that lost their dog in the area. I memorized two of the addresses closest to the hiking trail so I could drive Josie there.
