It was tryout week and I was very well prepared. My game was sharp and I was ready to be on that team. The week went by and I was not playing as great as I wanted to. The last day shows up and I am just a couple of strokes out of the team. I knew I had to do something special. I started out fantastic and was inching closer to the team. We came down to the last shots and I was right in it but this happened. My worst shot of the week when I needed my best shot happened on the last hole. I was not on the team so I could not really get good practice. I then realized that I have three more years to make varsity and I can never give up. I started working really hard and grinding out long days of practice. Ball after ball and stroke after stroke over the course of the year got me a lot better. The next year was my sophomore year and I knew this was my time. Tryout weeks started and
