The Fury, the fastest, longest, and tallest rollercoaster on the East Coast. With a top speed of 95 mph and a height of 325 feet makes it the biggest rollercoaster I had ever gotten on, beating the Intimidator 305 by 25 feet. I remember seeing on television and wanting to ride it really badly. It just looked so amazing and since I love rollercoasters and love riding rollercoasters, I knew it was something I had to do. I had ridden lots of rollercoasters before this one such as the Intimidator 305 and the Top Thrill Dragster, which I had enjoyed riding very much, and I figured that the Fury would be just as good. So I asked my parents of we could go to the Carrowinds to ride the Fury. They said yes and we went with my aunt to the Carrowinds.…

Las Vegas is exactly what I thought it would be in so many ways. I never thought a place could live so fully up to its famous and infamous reputation. From the slot machines to the nudity. Its almost like the entire place just never found its filter. "Southern Hospitality" was null and void and I'm guessing never even heard of let alone considered. Its just the complete rawness was something I'm not used to it at all. In the south everyone is so much more conservative and worried about what they look like in other people's eyes. It just seems like everyone there was so much more worried about themselves and their own lives they didn't have time to be worried with others. There was also this sense of togetherness and understanding. Not necessarily…

Willy Loman has the confidence of a billionaire. He acts like he is a hero, almost as if he ran the town. Willy’s confident attitude rubbed off onto his kids (Biff and Happy) making them believe that their father was a very successful man and that they were living the high class life. When in reality it was so far from that. Only Willy saw himself as the best. His friends, his bosses all knew he was full of talk, but never mentioned anything to him. “Well, that's the training, the training. I'm telling you, i was selling’ thousands and thousands, but I had to come home.”(34) The reality of Willy Loman's life is quite sad and pathetic, thinking that one is making so much money and is going to be so successful when really none of that is going…

It was Memorial Day 2014, my whole family was home for the first time in a long time. My family and I were all up at our shop welding a plow for my mom's new lavender field. We had been working hard on it since 11:00 in the morning. Kaden, my older brother, was welding, and my dad was grinding metal. They worked until it was finished that evening. Later that night, Kaden went into the living room to ask my dad a question, he looked out out the window and screamed at the top of his lungs, "THE SHOP IS ON FIRE, CALL 911!!!"…

One winter I visited my older sister in cold and snowy North Dakota. She wanted me to visit her for some time I wasn't enthusiastic, to say the least, it was North Dakota IN THE WINTER! However, I decided to ultimately leave. I begin to adequately prepare for what seemed like a trip to Antarctic. I purchased winter gear and some unnecessary equipment like a ski mask. The next day I landed in North Dakota and stayed indoors mostly. My sister was going into town one morning and I asked to go with her. I wanted to finally leave the house so I got ready and even wore my ski mask. My sister though it was a little excessive but I didn't care. We stopped by the bank and I waited inside the car. eventually, I got bored and went inside to look for free…

Just for extra fun we drove to Chicago and stayed there for two nights. We explored downtown Chicago, all the amazing buildings. We even got to go into the old Sears Tower, which was something that I think everyone needs to see. It's probably one of the best sights I've ever seen, other than the fact I've only seen a good view going down Quincy hill near my hometown.…

I didn’t have the best time before arriving to the concert. I left my house at 6pm, but instead of going straight to the Cosmopolitan, I had to pick up some friends. One of them lived on the east side of Las Vegas. That person wasn’t even ready by the time I arrived. In result, we were late. The concert began at 8pm and we had gotten there just a few minutes before the opening act. Waiting in line was worst part of my night though. The tickets were relatively cheap at a total of $40.40. Even though I am not a rock person, my friends told me that this band wasn’t bad. I also found out that they were classified as “alternate rock.”…

It was the most casual winter day of the year. My body under a blanket, Hot chocolate in one hand and a T.V. Remote in the other. I was flipping from channel to channel trying to find a show that I could settle on. My eyes were glued to the bright screen, although I could see each and every snowflake falling out of the sky. It was hard not to admire. Here in Michigan, We have the most beautiful winters, and the nicest of summers. I love to diversity that comes with all the weather rather than having a dreaded summer all year like in Florida, and a harsh year round winter like Alaska. The hot chocolate that I had just whipped up was still scorching hot and was burning my lips after every sip. The whipped cream helped dim the chocolates temperature. After searching almost every channel, I decided that I should just watch some ESPN. I usually didnt watch ESPN that often because they often report the same things over and over. I remember once when I was about 10 years old and Rob Gronkowski was injured. One day I saw that they were…

One to Table Rock Lake, and one to Mark Twain Lake in Missouri. Every year I always look forward to these trips. We go with a lot of friends and family that mostly all have boats. We all go to the same resort and have an amazing time. I think Table Rock is probably the most fun to go to. We like to go to these cliffs that hang over the water, and we jump off of them every year. There are 4 levels. A small 10 foot cliff, a bigger 20 foot cliff, a 35 foot cliff, and the biggest that we call a box cliff because the cliff is formed into a perfect square is about a 40 foot cliff. There is even a rope swing that we like to jump off of. While we’re there, we tie up our boats and just chill and jump off the cliffs. My uncle makes the best salsa ever. It is so juicy and full of taste and spices. It is…

That night before I headed to bed my grandmother told me to make sure I do my “snow dance,” before I went to bed. I asked her what that was and she told me that it was a dance that you make up yourself if you wanted it to snow, so I went ahead and made me a snow dance. I danced and danced for about 10 minutes until I got tired. Then I decided to pray on it before I finally went to bed. I remember waking up and hearing my grandmother talking to her sister on the phone about how beautiful the snow looked. I got so excited and jumped out of bed and looked out the window to see these beautiful white flakes falling from the sky and piling on the ground.…
