In addition to this I also showed good refereeing skills according to those who analysed my performance. This is because I used had a good effective use of the scoring system, this is something which is very vital to a referee’s role as it’s important to know which team in winning. The way, in which I shown good effective use of the scoring system was by making sure the players knew the score every time a goal was scored, I also had a notepad which I wrote all the goal scorers numbers on which made sure I knew who exactly score from which team. This was also a good initiative which I decided to do of my own back. Going to college is considered to be one of the most important parts of a person’s adult life. Lee focuses on this unnecessary pedestal that the college experience is put on. Kids treat it as an excuse to party and do not place the same level of importance on it as their parents do. Lee had this realization with her own son when she thought about how she was “paying $1,000 a week for this pleasure cruise” (52). This lead her to pull her son out of school until he was ready to go back and be serious or find a job to occupy his time more efficiently. Her son went on to have many different jobs. They were not the most glamorous, but taught him independence and how to be responsible with his own money. Lee argues that this life path got her son to a fulfilling place where he was enjoying what he was doing and had found a good job where a promotion was in his near future (2). This end result is typically why students go through college in the first place.…

The giant panda, infamously known for their black markings and playful behavior, is among one of the most endangered species in the world. Pandas in the wild have few natural enemies; their species decline is mostly due to overpopulation of humans who continue to take up land space and lack of food during the intervals of bamboo blossom season. This paper will discuss the pandas’ ecology, subdivided into categories of their diet, habitat and behavior, how humans first developed a relationship with the pandas, leading into the reasons that caused the pandas to become enlisted under the endangered species list, and conclude with human developments that help the giant pandas survive.…

By showing that knowledge can be acquired outside the classroom, Rose repudiates that people who spend more time in school, are not more brilliant than those who do not. He says, “Though work-related actions become routine with experience, they were learned at some point through observation, trial and error.” Even if people are not college educated, they can deal with various problems that they face in the work by using their experiences that colleges do not teach them. Rose’s mother, Rosie was a waitress; the restaurant became the place where she studied human behavior, puzzling over the problems. Rose’s uncle, Joe Meraglio, worked in a factory; he observed the factory was like schooling, a place where he was constantly learning. Life experience can teach a person a tremendous amount. True, it would be in a different manner than a formal education would, yet still a very lofty education can be learned through hands-on actives, outside a classroom setting. Everyone is smart on their own level. However, Rose stresses the point that their “brilliance” is not recognized or, if it is, it is looked down upon by people who are more "educated." In the same way with Rose, Bird argues that college is a waste of time because the majority of…

When we’re kids, we don’t have a single worry in the world. Our priorities are going to school and getting along with the rest of the kids on the playground. We don’t have to worry about taxes, or being judged (for the most part), paying bills, etc. So when do we reach the point where the real world comes in and kicks us in the behind? When do we come to realize who we really are and what our position is in this world? For me, the real world introduced itself at a very young age. And unfortunately I didn’t really understand what was going on at the moment. But for my parents, the situation was quite clear. I became a victim of bullying and racist comments.…
