Personal Pneumatology Research Paper
My original Christology has not changed, but supported even better by the idea of Pneumatology. Pneumatology is the theology concerning the Holy Spirit. In my own church upbringing, the idea of the Holy Spirit was a null curriculum. The only time the two words were spoken was when someone became “baptized in the name of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.” Besides baptism time, the Holy Spirit felt missing from the church. When you consider the idea of pneumatology with my personal Christology, the light of Jesus is the Holy Spirit. Scientists consider light as the fastest element in the world, which is why NASA uses “light years” as a tool for distance. What if we consider Jesus as the light because the light, or the Holy Spirit, reaches places

Spiritual Gifts are granted by the Holy Spirit as He wills. There are many gifts that are all granted by the same Spirit to benefit the body of Christ (1 Cor. 2:4, 7). However, when referring to either the Gifts or Fruits of the Spirit, consideration is needed to avoid confusing their meanings (Towns, p. 306). Light is apart from time, space, and matter, yet it fills the voids of our existence and sustains all life. Light has no mass, no distance, and is constant in time and presence. Christ is the "Light of the World". This idea had remained the same throughout the time period and was supported in the fields of science which left this idea to go unchanged. Many scientific reformers such as Isaac Newton, and Nicolaus Copernicus had said that God was the source of their knowledge and the reason for their…

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD, is a long-term disease that causes breathing problems. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is the third leading cause of death worldwide. COPD, however, is a heterogeneous collection of diseases with differing causes, pathogenic mechanisms, and physiological effects. Therefore a comprehensive approach to COPD prevention will need to address the complexity of COPD. Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome is an X-linked recessive immunodeficiency disorder usually inherited by males from their mother. This syndrome involves both T- and B-lymphocytes characterized in one third of patients by the triad of recurrent bacterial sinopulmonary infections, eczema (atopiclike dermatitis), and a bleeding diathesis caused by thrombocytopenia and platelet dysfunction. The characteristic triad of bleeding, eczema, and recurrent infections in Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome generally become evident during the first year of life, with petechiae and ecchymoses of the skin and oral mucosa and bloody diarrhea being the first clinical signs. Bone marrow transplant improves prognosis of Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome. Investigators reported that before hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, cutaneous manifestations occurred frequently, with the most common lesion being eczema similar to atopic dermatitis (71%), followed by petechiae and/or ecchymosis (58%) and cutaneous infections (17%). The classic triad of symptoms was seen in 46% of the boys, who were later treated with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.…

Inflammation is a protective response by the body towards cell injury, irritation, infection and can accumulate fluids with the following signs and symptoms: redness, warmth, swelling and pain. Inflammation is therefore the body’s way of attempting to remove the primary cause of inflammation and any damage that may have occurred as a result (healing and repair) (Drake et al., 2007). Today numerous drugs are used to treat conditions of inflammation such as narcotics (opioids), and non narcotics (salicylates), however these drugs accumulate side effects. That is why drugs from natural sources are referred to be a better inflammatory agent considering the presence of low toxicity and its therapeutic value. Natural drugs are considered as a big…
