She is very kind, nice and very caring. Janie had dark shiny hair that went up to her shoulders, brown shiny eyes, and usually always wore nice tight skinny jeans that she would roll up to her calf muscles with colorful converse or flats. She always had a bun and if it wasn’t a bun, then it was really neat and immaculately braid on her hair. Her height was about 5’1 - 5’2. …show more content…
The way I met her was during band, and she was the section leader, or boss of the section of the saxophones. She is very patient on everything and won’t stop trying to help until you accomplish the subject you need help on, which is an important quality she has. She always had a bright huge smile which really inspired, encouraged and motivated me on and off the field even if she was going to graduate the year of 2015. We both played soccer and even the same positions we were center forwards/midfielders so it was pretty fun to have someone like her be my partner on the field.
A center forward is a player in soccer who is in charge of making the goals, and helps out their partners which are left forward, and right forward. They can also be called the wings of the center forwards. Center midfielders are those who run a lot more than anybody else in the team. They make sure they defend the ball, need to have aggressiveness, could make goals and help defense as well as their wings, or right midfield, and left midfield.
Janie was an extraordinary talented person who inspired me because she wouldn’t give up like I seen a lot of people do. She wasn’t abstruse, or hard to understand. even if she felt sad or hurt from a kick or something bothering her, she would still have that smile. I also had her in my cardio class which is a class especially for running. Having her in my running class meant a lot for me because she would always help me on not to give up. She taught me things I thought could never be taught such as having patience, understand people are different and to have confidence in
yourself. Time passed and she graduated. I have lost contact with her, yet she inspires me every time I see her. I see her every now and then, especially at soccer games. I wouldn't say we stopped talking because we still do and when we do, it always somehow teaches me something. I am glad I met Janie Salas during my life because she taught me that life as we know it is full of people telling themselves, “ I’m done ..... I give up”, but no one ever realizes that’s exactly what their obstacle is, to become what you wanna be. You can’t improve unless you put the work for it, but you can't work for it either if you don’t believe in yourself.”
