1. CT
CT is an acronym for computerized tomography. It is a method of examining body organs by scanning them with X rays and using a computer to construct a series of cross-sectional images.
2. PPE
Personal Protective Equipment is equipment that is to be used by healthcare workers when there is a risk of being exposed to blood or body fluids.
3. Contrast
Contrast is an agent that is administered to a patient to enhance body tissues and organs.

CT A computerized tomography scan is an imaging procedure that combines x-ray images with the help of a computer to produce cross-sectional views and, if needed, three-dimensional images of the internal organs of the body. Computerized axial tomography is more commonly known by its abbreviated names, CT scan or CAT scan. Images produced by a CT scanner are used to diagnose normal and abnormal structures in the body.
2. PPE
PPE is an acronym for personal protective equipment. Personal protective equipment is to be used when performing procedures that may require contact with blood, body fluids, secretions, excretions, or mucous membranes. PPE may include gloves, gowns and masks.
3. Contrast
Contrast is a pharmaceutical substance that is instilled into the body or injected into the vascular system to highlight specific areas so that the organs, blood vessels, or tissues are more noticeable. In order to visualize detail, the area of interest needs to differ in radiographic density from its surrounding tissue. By increasing the visibility of all surfaces of the organ or tissue being examined, they can help the radiologist determine the presence of disease or injury.
