Personal Responsibility

People are motivated by many different factors such as money and status but a question to ask one’s self is, what makes a person successful and/or what is the driving force behind ones success? Possessing a characteristic such as personal responsibility is an essential tool in understanding how a person can effectively use the information given to them, in order to reach their goals. I believe personal responsibility means that I am the sole person who is accountable for my success. Although Ideas and visions of success can be identified without the factor of personal responsibility it gives one a sense of personal and social accomplishment. Developing plans from the beginning to the end, while maintaining the focus to succeed is crucial. Without personal responsibility ones visions and ideas for progress have a probable cause to be defeated. Having a lack of personal responsibility may cause one to fail academically, as well as struggle to get started in a professional career. Personal responsibility allows one to be able to focus on preserving new information as you discipline yourself to learn new ideas however preserving information learned is not the only important factor in personal responsibility, In addition an important key is to take learned concepts and train ones work ethics in accordance, in order to improve skills. In conclusion, although ideas and visions of success can be identified by many without the factor of personal responsibility it also gives one a sense of personal and social accomplishment for two main reasons. First, personal responsibility can be what ultimately separates a person that is successful, from a person that is not as successful. Secondly, personal responsibility allows one to be able to focus on preserving new information for latter success. I plan to use personal responsibility in everything that I do I believe if I hold myself accountable for my own success then I will not have to depend on anyone else to keep me in line. College success is in one way or another depended on personal responsibility I feel that one must make personal responsibility their priority in order to gain success. Nothing in life is given to us on a silver platter; we must earn everything that we attain in this world. I believe that everyone can achieve success but the question remains how bad one wants it, In my experience I have learned that possessing a characteristic such as discipline is an essential tool in understanding how a person can effectively use the information given to them, in order to reach their goals. Although Ideas and visions of success can be identified without the factor of discipline, discipline gives one a sense of personal and social accomplishment.
I believe that developing plans from the beginning to the end, while maintaining the focus to succeed is crucial. Without discipline my visions and ideas for success have a probable cause to not work. Having a lack of discipline may cause problems academically, as well as in a professional career. I want to put a put a plan to ensure my success in my academics as well as my professional and social life. I believe one must know what is expected out of them to perform at an optimum level so in saying that I would make sure I ask the proper questions to determine if I am doing things correctly. In an educational environment I would make a preliminary plan to meet with my instructor to ask any questions that I may have and to find out what is expected out of the class. I believe that success is earned and not given one must seek out all avenues to make one successful, I can not depend on others to help me if I am not trying to help myself. My plan is to do all I can to better myself, if I have to stay up late I will just have to do it because in the long run it will pay off. Life is all about the choices you make and if I make smart choices I will be successful but if I choose to not to apply myself then there is no one to blame but me.
