I would like to divide my personal goals into different stages. At this stage, completing a master program of accounting in an outstanding business school is my priority. Among all the ACCA modules I’ve taken in C University of Finance and Economics, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Advance Assurance are those which I emphasized on and in which I got As. Also I was attracted by how detail-oriented and analytical the financial statement analysis and financial reporting are. The customized program structure of MPAC at P M School of Business will both enhance my knowledge and make good for my deficiency.
For instance, Financial Statement Analysis I: Earning Quality and Asset Analysis and Financial Statement Analysis II: Liability and Equity Analysis are arranged in a neat hierarchical order. The topic of my graduation thesis is The Consolidated Financial Statement for multinational companies. There is no wonder that I will make further efforts on interpreting on consolidated financial statements and ratio analysis.
My short term goal is to pass CPA exams during the study at P M Business School. I have exempted from 9 of 14 certificated exams in ACCA which prepared me well for AICPA exams. A proper understanding of new State of California Board of Accountancy education standards will have a significant effect.
My initial goal is to obtain a position as a public accountant or auditor to gain practical corporate experience in national or local accounting firms immediately after graduation. The peculiar characteristic proseminar will further elaborate and refine my targets.
