Personal Statement: A Career As An Administrative Assistant
I am a good choice for the team due to my varied background. Not only have I worked in the niche environment of a SaaS company concurrently on multiple Scrum teams as the QA role, but I have years and years of Administrative Assistant experience. Additionally, I also worked for many years in IT, so my skill set is wide. I'm a quick study and enjoy learning new things. I have a can-do attitude and don't frustrate easily. Being busy is my preference and I'm not afraid of multitasking or having a lot of "balls in the air" during a juggling act. I am able to see things from various perspectives and as such, feel I would be an asset to the development of OAMM. If given the chance you will not be disappointed!

Waking up in the middle of the night coughing and gasping for air occurred on a regular basis for me as a child. I slept with an inhaler and a nebulizer next to my bed in the event of the next attack. My asthma attacks were frightening for my parents and especially for me as I felt as if I was on the verge of death whenever I suddenly could not breathe. Although I was always in and out of emergency rooms and doctor visits at a young age, having tried everything from nebulizer treatments to bronchodilators, I was always comforted by the doctors and nurses who always took the time to explain and alleviate any concerns and anxiety I had. Seeing their devotion to their profession and for patient care has motivated me to pursue graduate study in the field of nursing to invest my future to coordinate and implement quality healthcare for others.…

My punctuality, attention to detail, and people skills are what make me an excellent office administrative assistant. First of all, I hate being late to anything. I strive to be on time, or early, in appropriate situations. When I know that I will be unable to attend or have no control over being late, I am prompt to notify the individuals I am on my way to see. It is very rare that I am tardy to any scheduled meetings. Secondly, I strive to have an excellent attention to detail. Some would say I am a perfectionist with my work. I look projects over dozens of times before handing them in, and make sure that everything is up to my standard. I proofread very well, and I am usually the one people come to for editing advice. Lastly, I have wonderful…
