Personal Statement For Dentistry
My decision to pursue dentistry is a result of a series of conscious and reflective decisions, prompted by my personal experience that I gained while I was a dental assistant at St. Augustine Dental Associates Limited. When I started my BSc in Biology I knew that I wanted to pursue medicine, however my experience being a dental assistant allowed me to obtain valuable knowledge of the field of dentistry and its many procedures, including the importance of oral hygiene. It is this experience that now inspires me to pursue a career in dentistry, it allowed me to value the importance of dental health and it provided me with the gratification of providing a greatly needed service to others.
